  1. Hi, I'll be upgrading the forum software again shortly to keep us up to date with the latest patches. I done a trial run 20 minutes ago but need to get our host to do a quick fix before I proceed with the rest of the upgrade. No apparent changes will be visible to the front end systems and the outage if any will be minimum. Any issues please let me know in here. Thanks Lee
  2. wow, love the white 99 spec.
  3. We sent a mass email out a few months back but only to users that haven't logged in for a while. There is automated emails from us but they are system ones for the likes of password resets or birthday announcements.

Wife bought me one last year and its still in the box on top of a cabinet.
  5. Shame its a collection only.
  6. OCD is satisfied for now, that wee power pack is pushing out 12v which go to a voltage regulator first so the halo's can run of 8 - 24v which is cool.
  7. Everything back together and looking much better.
  8. Put the fan assembly back together and the clutch part looked shite so I painted it too.
  9. Starting to put everything back together : Outer part of the Inner lenses now painted : And the finished look :
  10. while I was doing the washing I thought i'd give the fan a cleanup too
  11. Couple of small runs from over spraying them but wont matter too much after the insert are back in.
  12. Discovered today what a washing line is really for :
  13. to be honest I never knew they came out.
  14. Well the OCD in me took over and I've decided to strip them down once more and do it proper. First off each headlight stripped back to a carcass and primed in red.
  15. Accounts merged and kept your current email and username as the primary. Need anything else let me know. Lee
  16. You only learn with experimenting. One thing i would do differently is spray the interior of the carcus to black as i can see the white in certain places at the bottom against the black glue i used. I'm sticking with these for the now and i may redo them at a later date.

Hey, Seen you creeping about the forums recently, how you been ? Got any more zeds for breaking or you just got a zed twitch and having a nosey. Lee
  19. So I've sent my seats down to Mondo for a full retrim and there is a fair chance that by the time my zed is road worthy and ready for its mot and tax they wont be ready. So what i'm looking for is anyone north of the border whom I could borrow or get a set of seats to get me through the mot. I stay in troon so willing to travel a few miles to collect. Wont need them for at least another month so this is just putting out a feeler to see whats out there. Cheers
  20. you have the paid version of conzult http://www.conzult.com/ or you can use datascan http://www.nissandatascan.com/ There is also some stand alone testers available on ebay but I've no personal experience on those.
  21. next job was fitting everything back together which was a wee bit of a struggle for me to get everything aligned and looking proper but I got there in the end. Sealed everything up with a special primer and epoxy made for windscreens which was a bit messy. Only thing I regret is that the epoxy can be seen from inside against the white plastic which I wish now I had painted black for a better finish. Altogether for my first headlight rebuild this was good for me.
  22. So my new halo's arrived at work today and I'm mightily impressed by them. They took about three weeks to arrive but when powered up they give of an intensive bright white light. Used hot glue to fix them in place then powered them up and got the wow factor. They are not a perfect fit so they are balanced on the back then glued together but that is mainly because the inserts themselves aren't perfectly circular which is a shame as the they would be a perfect size.
  23. Can't stop staring, noooooo !!!
  24. Its got a hefty bolt in the center which I presumed was the earth, I might hook it directly to a battery to test before I put the front bumper back on.
