  1. ok, who read that to themselves in the voice of daffy duck ?
  2. I split mine although not brembos and never had any issues, brakes were perfect after I rebuilt the stock callipers. But at your own risk of course. :)
  3. EGR tubes wont fit as they have rotated the bolt holes about a 1/4 turn. Strangely series 4 don't have egr so they already have the ports blocked with a gasket and plate. So the only bit needing blocked up would be the whole at the back of the engine.
  4. does your engine have an egr ? as you will need to get rid of it. The series 4 has the holes but they have rotated them slightly so old pipes wont fit.
  5. Good for them but all the pics on the net are from the Dads :)
  6. yeh, Although if gizmo gets wet at any time its bad news. Will have a good one for tonight, I think we are doing I mission impossible theme.
  7. yeh, If you google it there is a fair amount of pics with adult themes. Like the elf at a strip club and so on :)
  8. Had only a few but this is for the kids. My daughter has adopted an Elf called sparkles who at night sits by her bedside and watches her go to sleep. It then reports back to santa about how good she has been the previous day but when it returns it gets up to mischief and does some naughty things about the house. My daughter this morning got up and had to go find her then put her back on its shelf. Bit of fun for the kids and the adults as now I have to think of something even better.
  9. Come on get your pics up.
  10. The girl i'm dealing with has a different name from yours unless she is married of course. Doubt its her but give her a kick all the same to speed her up. :)
  11. yeh, And a long list of vultures lining up for parts too :)
  12. Just been informed by my insurance that the full evaluation should be complete by start of next week. They do like to drag things out. :(
  13. After I get my old purple rain zed back she will be broken for parts (hopefully by start of new year). Most will be transferred to the new zed but I envision the following being available shortly after: Tailgate (blue glass) and series 4 Spoiler - £200 posted Digital pods and ECU from series 2 (modded by groover with blue led's) - provisionally sold to Richie K Front Fogs - provisionally sold to Richie K Series 4 Plenum - provisionally sold to Richie K Front Bonnet SOLD - - Blue Valour Seats - - SOLD Standard Suspension £100 posted SOLD - - headlights with 99 spec inserts and HALO's, shell of the lights are painted black £150 posted - - SOLD SOLD - - Targa Tops £150 posted - Funkysi - - SOLD Fan Shroud £50 posted - Mondo Side indicators £30 posted Series 4 ECU £50 posted Series 4 Engine Loom £100 posted Series 4 Autobox (44k miles) £350 posted - first refusal to Wide Arch SOLD - - Series 4 Steering Wheel (airbag model) £100 posted - first refusal to Lexx - - SOLD Series 4 Standard Pass POT £50 posted Series 4 Electronic HiCAS £100 posted - first refusal to (adl) phoenix Series 4 Standard Auto Radiator £100 posted Series 4 MAF, Standard Air Filter £100 posted Series 4 PTU £100 posted Series 4 heating control ECU £25 posted - first refusal to Iangreenfield Series 4 Exhaust, downpipes and cats £150 posted Tailgate Light cluster (orange, 3 sections) £100 posted SOLD -- Scuttle panels and the top bar between the targa glass £100 posted - TonyB -- SOLD Other parts likely available just ask. 14. Clever, I do agree that I like 19's better but it puts the cost up a fair whack.
  15. Happy Birthday Jeff :)
  16. Happy Birthday buddy
  17. think i'm going to stick with 18's this time that way I don't need to tuck the rear arches again. 18's would be cheaper for the wheel and tyre.
  18. Likely these bad boys : Work Wheels Emotion D9R
  19. were all Scottish and Irish at heart, and were all nutters :)
  20. Thanks, And well seen it took an Irishman to make the announcement, the rest of us scots are likely in the Pub. :clover::pint::clover: ;)
  21. Yes it will be modified to a style I prefer but it will be done professionally and to a very high standard. The paint job alone on my last zed {rip} cost in the region of £2.5k. For all who managed to see the old zed in the flesh they know it was to a very high standard which all the more makes it a kick in the balls for all the work that went into it. I'm just trying to forget what happened and rebuild what I've lost exactly the way it was. But now I have the opportunity to make a few modern adjustments like hopefully get my alloys that I wanted.
  22. I know the paint job on the blue zed is good but it likely will be a complete respray by next year in purple again :) Queue the haters ;)
  23. and a 99 spec rear spoiler, lights and front bumper, o and a few extra goodies I can think of.
