Looks a nice clean UK spec. Auto or manual, what miles are on it?

Personally i couldn't justify spending more on a years insurance than the value of the car. £5k is an unthinkable amount. The problem with these cars is although relatively cheap to buy they can still cost the equivalent of a £30k to run & maintain. This particular example sounds to have had an unloved life - if you are set on a 300zx you may be better looking elsewhere.

Used to be available from SWZ. Maybe Legrath can point you in the right direction as to where they sourced them from.

They were both owned by this parent company http://www.tgplc.com however have now been sold (i believe) to Scorpion.

I used to have a Sigma on a previous car and had no problems with it - never gave any problems in many years use. Toad and Sigma are manufactured by the same company.

I've always fancied getting a dogue de bordeaux but the misses is put off by the slobering and drooling (the dogs, not mine before anyone comments). How do you find yours?

I've replaced the windscreen - it was chipped and old looking - fitter wrote it up as cracked and claimed on insurance - so £50 excess Also replaced both quarters with new Nissan items sourced from Courtesy in the States. Quite a bargain in comparision to prices here in the UK. Had them fitted by the guy who did the windscreen.

No me then. Mine "was" a completely standard (apart from crap exhaust) Red UK car. It's not seen a road in a year.

You could try this place. Haven't used them myself but heard good reports - http://www.nationalalloys.co.uk It does say on their website they do split rims.

Doesn't Danny (DTA) do a chrome insert to give the 99spec look. I'd check with him first before splashing out 1K!!!!

I'll be getting my car back soon (thanks to Mr Duff) with refurbed standard turbo's, rebuilt engine with 88mm pistons, underdrive pulley, decatted, profec b etc etc. I'm hoping to run the car at 1bar of boost - would I see any benefit in fitting larger SMIC's, specifically the Z1 units. I notice "Steve-300ZX" has uprated his intercoolers and acheived extremely good bhp figures. What do you think?

Was it difficult to do? Presumbably you had to remove the glass. Any particular paint used?

Who did that for you? Is Bob the alarm fitter/forum member still around. I was going to get a toad alarm fitted by him.

I have been looking for a classy wheel without a lip/dish which Kahn seem to do a good selection of. I believe they're a good quality wheel as well. Cheers Dan. I'll get a price for a staggered set.

Thinking about getting some 19in Kahn wheels. Spoke to Kahn and they tell me to use 8.5 all round, 9.5 won't fit on the rear. Is this correct? I notice most people here are using staggered sizes. They told me the offsets are between 33 - 38.
