  1. Ignore above - Z1 do one for $78 for anyone who's interested.
  2. I'd like to get one of these made up. Does anyone know what length the pipe needs to be and what fittings are required?
  3. You assume correct. The switches aren't very good and the contacts within can get dirty. You can strip and clean them - just be careful of all the small bits inside.
  4. Cheers - it hasn't moved since in i put the for sale ad up - shame really. Might have to take it for a spin over the weekend.
  5. Aye must be me - parked on the driveway in front of garage. Yep - that's the one for sale.
  6. Its a 911 GT3 ;)
  7. I would imagine that the '300zx Turbo Coupe' (90-94) refers to the UK model as those were the years in production. '300zx Twin Turbo Hatchback' (89-98) will be for an import. What do you have Uk or import?
  8. I have sent him a text message.
  9. The 2006 M3 is 340 BHP, its only the later shape V8 M3 with 414BHP
  10. Does the passenger door lock when you lock the drivers door with the key - if yes then central locking ok and you need to look at the alarm. Could be alarm itself or the aftermarket solenoid fitted to the drivers door. If just the drivers door locks with the key and the passenger does nothing then it could be either the fuse in footwell fusebox, or solenoid in pass door, or actuator switch located in drivers door underneath locking mech.
  11. I've seen this car - seems to be parked up during the day at a garage in birkdale next door to Road Range Mercedes.
  12. Cheers guys, i'll get the door cards of and check.
  13. See orginal post - btt
  14. Thanks - i don't think this is the problem as the car starts and runs fine. I'll check the voltages tomorrow though.
  15. When locking/unlocking the drivers door with either the key or alarm remote the drivers door un/locks but the passenger door doesn't. I've checked the fuse in the footwell but thats ok. Any ideas or common faults before i have to remove the door cards?
  16. It's the amp for rear speakers
  17. The buyers guide doesn't cover the detail that datascan can show. I was hoping someone may be able to suggest a few values to look for from various sensors etc.
  18. Hi, Hopefully i'm picking up my second 300 later this week. I'll be taking my laptop with datascan to check for any logged faults but wondered if there is anything else (levels, parameters, voltages, etc) i should check whilst it's hooked up.
  19. Series 2 on UK started from very late 92. Usually cloth seats were manual, leather elec.
  20. In the UK there was only two varieties. Series one and two. The later series two models (typically 93 onwards) had alcantara, elec pass seat, heated seats, revised heater controls, leather arm rests on doors and electrical improvements. Externally it looks the same.
  21. You can hook a battery straight to the window motor. It's one of the connectors on the door under the panel
  22. With the 99spec front bumper having a different indicator setup and fog lights compared to the UK cars, how have people wired it up?
  23. Are you just going to use it as a phone or were you intending on using the blackberry email services? Even if you get your Orange sim card working in it you'll still need to add the blackberry service to your contract at an approx cost of £10 per month. Don't believe it can be done with PAYG.
