Lighten & Balanced Crank
Contact Mike Jennings on +44 1787 460965 - Pete @ SE sends work his way so can't be bad. Did my crank and HKS clutch for £90 cash in hand. (You'll need to take down one piston with rings and conrod so he can make the counterweights required to balance a V6 crank) His unit is located about 15 minutes from Braintree, Essex Hope this helps Simon.

Engine run in on a dyno?
Apart from the initial fill and occasional check they wouldn't. The car's going to do a simulated 500-ish miles but constantly taking the engine through the revs to avoid bore-glaze etc. They may change it at the end - so its super fresh on a run-in engine which would be ideal, but from speaking to Pete in the past he puts fully synthetic in from the start, so why waste an oil that will last for another 6000 miles quite happily? Si.

B&B Triflow
Supposed to be the loudest exhaust on the planet for the Zed. But unfortunatly has the highest price tag for an exhaust on the planet too. :) Si.

Nissan parts catalogue
Its all in how you use it - my local dealer (yes officier) gave me a few pointers which help navigate around the distinctly horrid interface. Graphics are poo as well - but you get used to it 2p Simon.

How mus for a set of Koni Adjustable?
So, should we be joining in with Chris's GB then? Little unclear as I'm only after the shocks, since I've had a set of Blitz springs at home for about a year now! James, stu, etc - is it only the shocks you're after too? Simon.

Engine run in on a dyno?
Best option in my opion - simulated hills - with controlled loading of the engine - so no possibility of glazing the bores, etc Saves all the heart ache of being overtaken my a nova whilst running in too:)

5hit.......What Am I Gonna Do????
Get yourself a decent mobile - P900 / 6600 etc - they both have full specced web browsers. My Nokia 6600 has Opera and enables you to browse the forum surprisingly easily Simon.

Resetting the ECU hasint helped!
See if your local boy-racer shop has a cheap boost gauge - you should have a vacuum of about -20 to -24 psi. This'll at lest rule out a vac leak. hope this helps Simon.

Solid Engine Mounts
Both times when I've put the engine in the mounts are already on the engine. So not entirely sure, perhaps señor Duff can shed some light??... beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice..

Solid Engine Mounts
There's no vibration when crusing down the road, but if I have to step off the gas during acceleration, the engine really jumps as the engine breaking causes the engine to lean on the other mount (acceleration will cause compression on one mount, tension on the other, and visa versa for decelleration) When the engine was out last - both mounts had less that 50% of the rubber still adhered to the aluminium! (The hooked edge on each mount is the saviour when the rubber completely detaches itself - since the engine would only be held in place by the boost pipes and gearbox otherwise - which IMO is what I'm experiencing) Does this help??

How mus for a set of Koni Adjustable?
I'm a definitly up for Koni shocks all round if a GB happens - car feels like I've got oval wheels at the moment!

What have you got waiting to be fitted?
Body kit, blitz springs, interior - (seriously I only have the dash, and the fronts seats in the car!)

Biddycam!
Well its hard to tell innit - old people don't move very quick at the best of times. So really its no so clear if the picture updates every 60 seconds or is actually realtime :)

I.T. People are such MORONS!!!
My brother got a iPod for his b/day - really nice - Apples design team know their stuff. Perhaps they should consider car styling!

knock sensor
yanked from your other thread: I bought my new one from Courtesyparts - loads cheaper....

knock sensor
Seeing as I've taken the engine out twice now, I personally would take the gearbox off to get to the knock sensor. But....If you've not taken the box off before - you'll want to steer clear of this I should think Si.

I.T. People are such MORONS!!!
To be fair however, we have a helpdesk at work - and they're not experts. All calls are treated to in the same way - according to a 'script'. The real experts are those that actually receive the fault after the helpdesk have logged it. They're the ones who know what they're doing but, 'users' are expected to explain their issues to a no-brainer! (BTW, the only requirement to work on a IT helpdesk, at least for first-line calls, it the ability to speak) Still, I would expect a replacement PC in your predicament - and same day too. Call your line manager and tell him your "PeeCee" is broken and get him to put a rocket up someones arse in the IT dept. Simon. (a real expert :D)

Controversial!!!
Just out of interest, has anyone ever been chucked in this river at Billing??

Solid Engine Mounts
I was just thinking about the same thing!!... Since tearing my standard ones the engine feels horrible when pulling away or when taking my my foot of the accelerator too briskly - it feels like its going to jump out the engine bay!!! (This of course being the ONLY downside of adding more power!) Have you found anywhere that sells them? That Austrailian site sells polyeurothane ones - but they're well expensive. Simon.

lol! :) - I've uploaded about 2GB so far today (max 28KBs) and no sign of complaint - so tell your brother not to come back for another few days.

Latest version of FAST
This seems to happen quite regularly - but persevere and it'll do the business Simon.
