on sofa suffering from some bug of some sort, feeling freezing even when im hot, cant stand for mroe than 10mins with out feeling lathargic. to be honest i managed to get to the car today, got the exhaust off and prop shaft unbolted, next up if i feel a little better tmorrow, ill be getting the gearbox off the car.

they were good at one point then the other week i needed to send something, booked it in waited in all day for them didnt hear shite, got peed off when the mrs knocked the door only to find they had apparently been but just stuck the damn card through the door with out knocking (trust me i hear even next doors get knocked) so rebooked it for the next day, then they didnt show the following day, emailed them they then arranged it them selves, it finally got picked up at 5pm 3 days after the initial booking. But as they had been spot on previously i put it down to just "one of them things", so booked in these shocks i sold the other day, waited in all day and nothing, just had to rebook it in again, but due to being the weekend ive got to wait till monday for pick up now. talk about taking the P Stupid thing is, i provide my number when booking the decent thing to do is at least give me a ring and let me know they are not going to be able to make it rather than have people sitting around all day waiting on someone who isnt arriving.

anyone else having problems with parcels2go? thats the second time now ive booked in something for pick up only for them not to turn up to collect and had to rebook it. think im going to write a letter of complaint

Check the relay bud, might be that and someone missed it last time around, my first zed someone had wiggled the top of the relay off and stuck some paper between where it contacts when you press the horn button stopping it working. Think the service manual covers the horn, i shall have a scan for you see if i can find anything.

stupid question but did you check the fuse in the engine bay? (large fuse box 10amp), there is also a relay in there as well.

agree, also like to thank jeff for taking time out of his day to day to natter to me on the phone and sort out a gear linkage bush for me and get it sent out pronto.

is it wet? with all this weather we have been having lately could be that?

nice bumper, though i am drooling over the 3.2l engine for the vg30dett they do with the jun crank, pistons and conrods for £8.1k so when i win this lottery tonight (yeah right) i know what im going to be ordering.

its braided already, still got the fluid in too so probably no need to bleed it lol. pedal is already in, just need to whoop me exhaust off, undo prop and change that, undo gearbox bolts and torque converter bolts, drop the box off once the gear selector is undone, and swap it all out. fill the manual box up with oil and put the rest back on the car. then its just a case of sorting out the wiring and job should be a good un.

i got no choice with getting it done with out the wings coming off, as cant take them off with out removing the side skirts + front bumper. think i got a mate coming to help get the gearbox mounted though, should be fun. ill try and get some pictures as i go or even a video but would really depend on the weather.

didnt get started today, felt like crap, kept getting really dizzy standing up more than 10mins, think i got a bug or something, but hoping the bolts turn up tomorrow in the post then going to get on and do it regardless of if its raining or not. already got the pilot bushing in the engine, as it was a manual engine, it came with one in it, i just fitted the auto one over the top rather than knocking it out as it didn't interfere and i was planing on a conversion anyway, though when i get the auto one out, if its damaged ill get a replacement.
