  1. £280 to safeguard your car mate, sounds a reasonable price to me, even with subscription. imagine a thief thinking hes getting away with your prised possession, i think i see a kill switch somewhere, you ring it with your mobile and it kills the engine, bit like the tech they have in stinger cars.
  2. Tinted tail lights on a silver car....hmmm might have to crack out Photo shop an have a look, think it will make the back look wider. but looks very sweet good purchase
  3. Certainly a nice bit of kit that, lol think i might look into one of them, i can see someone getting sacked for that, unless it was the boss, but whats the betting they use some excuse like "well we had to test it so we took it for a run"
  4. Well i see it on the FAQ area but don't ask me where, i found it again on another Zed website and saved it to favorites this time around lol
  5. ooo i like them rear lights, do you know if that's a kit, sprayed or actual purchasable light cluster.
  6. Get a push bike, no fuel costs, no insurance, loss some weight lol / greener, don't look like you've nicked it :D
  7. Popped down the bank this morning and handed in some cash into Lloyds TSB 300zx.co.uk account, used my forum name as a reference, how long do i have to wait to become a subscribed member? I cant PM zx-eyes as its not saying im registered. it should also be an instant payment due to not using bank transfer / paypal / check
  8. its in the fuel tank, also depends what model you have as to how you access it, on the 2+2 its under the boot carpet, check this link out http://www.z32photoguide.com/fuelsys.html
  9. Well the fun begins soon as my car left the recovery center it was at, this morning at 9am, so just waiting on it arriving now, need to take a good look at the damage and see where this oil is coming from, but not holding out much hope.
  10. 300zx.co.uk membership card, stickers, tax disk holder, keyring, calling cards and something else. how about that.
  11. Personally i like the graphics look, due mainly as its a personal choice, anyone can put a body kit on a car, and OK they do look good (well some do) but the reason most put a body kit on, is to make the car look a bit unique, as there are only a few body kits available and most already have some form of them on there car, for ultimate uniqueness would be car decals, good thing about the ZX is that it already carries the track day car look from standard. so as far as im concerned, the decals just add to that look (specially if done correctly) Anyway, least its not a Saxo with decals trying to be something its not lol
  12. Mine was 31 years old, licence held for 3 years, limited to 8k miles per year, mods declared, garaged, cat 2 alarm / immobiliser, Social /domestic and definitely pleasure but no commuting.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRs_bh2pnZU&feature=PlayList&p=2481ED2ABE7AA4D1&index=0&playnext=1 Watch is all here. 7 parts.
  14. Blinding...... literally if your driving behind it on a sunny day lol
  15. If i ever owned a Cosworth of any sort, it would be slapped with a tracker soon as i got the keys in my hands. My Zx is getting one as well soon as i get it back from the break down peeps and the engine is working again. hmmm i have a cosworth factory up on the industrial estate near me, wonder if they want to do some engine work on my Zed lol Nissan 300zx cosworth.....
  16. Same peeps as im with, bargain price tbh, and there recovery service is good too, they recovered my car from Scotland, its leaving there depot tomorrow morning and should be arriving sometime tomorrow afternoon over 400miles away from me
  17. well, its confirmed, even with the funky colors lol
  18. lol, it took me that long to do it, you had a whole conversation before id pressed the reply button
  19. this would be the normal way *****Engine***** ****Radiator***** *^^^FAN^^^* ****Bumper**** ^^^COLD AIR^^^ Im trying to work out why you have it so its trying to suck warm air out of the car and push it towards where the greatest flow of air is coming from when running. How you have it at the moment its like this **Engine** **Radiator** **FAN** \/\/hot air\/\/ **Radiator** **FAN** \/\/hot air\/\/ **Bumper** ^^^Cold Air^^^ You just wont cool the engine enough doing this, due to the radiator not being cooled from external air flow not reaching them
  20. See how confusing it is lol, OK its a N/A jap import, what disks / pads am i after for the fronts lol
  21. is there a difference? im trying to source some disks and pads for my jap spec while waiting the engine, or are they the same, I've had a look about but im still confused, someone said yes and someone said no, its got standard calipers on it
  22. EDIT, and the position of the valve looks about right for a after market wheel, and should be pretty much a standard job, and whats this "metal right angle bit" hes babbling on about? having changed over 1000 tires on cars, even tires in the 20" mark, Ive yet to see a normal valve need some special tool.
  23. having worked in the tire industry before, id say the guy is lazy and couldn't be bothered, unless you have custom valves on it, all he needs to do is put you wheel on the tire machine (after deflating it obviously) take your tire off the wheel, and cut the other valve out and put a new one in. put the tire back on, inflate it, and re-balance it. From what i can tell in the pictures, yours are not "extra special" and look rather normal lol
