im not sure what to go for, might go for the pug 406 burgundy with cream leather interior. or with what the misses wants which is bay-side blue, as i do have a fondness for that color. or just stick with the gray its got at the moment, not sure.

Right, is everyone just completely missing the point or what? it could of been anyone's eBay listing, it wasn't targeting the dude selling, it was a general inquiry as to why people list it as a TT engine with no turbos, as i though tbh, considering the codes are just two letters away IE: VG30DETT & VG30DE respectively, that the only reason it had TT on the engine code was due to two turbos. and from what i could see, the only real noticeable difference between the two is the balance bar. the extra pipe work from the inter cooler, and the exhaust manifolds, the engine other than that, with out the turbos looks exactly the same. and that's what i was getting at. Had there been a engine for a TT that i had bought because it looked the same as the N/A instead of getting the N/A engine, would there really be anything stopping me running the TT lump as a bog standard N/A? not saying i want to, but just confused me why people listed it as a TT engine with out turbos attached that was all, not like i was going to pursue the matter in a court of law or anything lol

that's the one matey, it goes down past the alternator and along the front cross member where it connects to another pipe about 2/3rds along. Don't freeze your butt off though. (i literally LOL'ed at the snow down the ass crack comment) haven't you got the Data cable for your LG viewty?

is the drivers door in good condition if so, can i have that. ill pay for postage, mines got a nice rust spot on it so ideally id like to just replace it.

im not too sure that was the evos fault, although hard to tell, the BMW has front end damage, the evo looks like it was hit from the side as there is no front end damage or rear end damage, So unless the evo lost control and hit the BMW sideways, its confusing how it can be split in two, Either way the car was ripped in two, either by the BMW driver speeding, or the evo speeding, or both. But one thing that would be handy to know, cars are designed to with stand a hell of a lot of punishment from side impacts (unless from a tree mind you) it looks to me like the evo might of been a ringer (two cars cut in half and welded together), as there really wasn't that much damage to the BMW from a collision that cut a evo in half. Still very sad mind you.

Now you see why i asked, it wasn't a go at the seller, far from it. it was a general question about the engine.

Wait for another post first, someone else might of had or know about the problem, before and know if it is indeed the speed sensor.

replace the easy thing first, new speed sensor, you might be missing some teeth on the old one due to it being plastic.

you go thought a speed camera like that and your losing your licence, thats also a very good engine if you can do 300km/h at 1200rpm. Id say A. needle is stuck due to someone playing inside the cluster. (yet no after market dial on the speed side of it) B. speed sensor on the gear box is naff C. something else.
