  2. twin warriors is a quality film.
  3. Is it possible to wire my folding mirrors into my alarm. at the moment if my windows are down and i walk away from the car, when i press the remote to lock it, the windows do them selves up. was just wondering if there was a way to patch into the wiring that achieves this, to also fold the mirrors in as well?
  4. Does it have a valet mode? if so stick it in valet mode, deactivate the alarm as per normal, and then cut the wires. should be fine with that. if not, ware ear defenders and move it quickly lol
  5. Agreed, unless the back up battery is dead, easiest way to check is disconnect the car battery, if the siren goes off, its back up is good, if it doesn't, might be time to get the siren overhauled. easiest place to put it is up by the cruse control unit near the drivers side of the window (basically opposite the battery)
  6. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=143553 check this thread for the definitive Car.mad 89 spec rear spoiler review.
  7. Do you also use, wynn's "start ya B*******D?" lol
  8. making think about not changing my plenum now, not going to look half as good a transformation as that :( that will put my efforts to shame
  9. happy birthday buddy, have a great day.
  10. that's one hell of a turn around, very nice and good job there fella.

  12. i just think it would make a good talking point... Ive been looking for that post where someone said their car didn't start, was going to post this link up in that thread, but im not that evil lol
  13. lol might get a can of that, just so i can say i have one.
  14. wow i go sleep, and look at the interest I've stirred, don't worry ill be getting loads of car porn pictures, and yes Jeff, you were right, doing a flush made it worse but at least its nice and healthy water / coolent. As for the hesitation issue, i ran down to the car the other night to try changing over the PTU, changed it over, tried starting the car, but she wouldn't fire up on the new PTU, so put the old one back on after cleaning the connections. must of caught it when doing the power steering pipe, as she hasn't been hesitant since.
  15. Well, if its the passenger side turbo that's fubar, and the drivers side is ok, my drivers side turbo is leaking oil, but the passenger side is ok, get my engine for £200 complete with turbos, swap your plenum over to my engine, and the drivers side turbo off your car onto the drivers side of my engine, and you have a working twin turbo engine, simples. then all you need is a wiring harness.
  16. Well progress, the hesitation issue has now gone. car running smoothly again, then today got her up to temp went to move her, and low and behold a bloody swimming pool forming under the car. turned the engine off and checked. Water leak is back, but noticed it does it when the engine is warm, when its stone cold, it doesn't, so going to empty the system out over the weekend and check the top rubber pipe work. also going to get the rad out, take the plenum off, clean everything check the water pump, flush the radiator through, and if needed change the water pump, top inlet pipes, clean all the radiator rubber hoses, water by pass, and polished plenum on. may as well as shes going to be off the road for a few days chasing this water leak. ill update this thread with photos, now I've found my camera, and get a walk through up as well while I'm at it.
  17. First of all Hello and welcome to the forum, Sounds like it could be relay related, if so and you have checked all fuses, then the relay for accessories is on the rear of the fuse box in the foot well, and its a pain in the butt to get to. So first id check all fuses for a blown one, if you are fine, then next would be to check the relays, first remove the kick sill from the drivers side of the car, then remove the plastic trim that covers the fuse box, fuse box is held in with 3 screws, remove the screws, remove the plugs that go into the front of the fuse box, and as you start to remove it, there are more plugs into the rear of the fuse box. Once removed you will see the relays mounted on the back of it. 1 small blue one, 1 normal size blue one, 2 black and a brown relay, all of these apart from the small blue relay, can be changed over for relays in the engine bay fuse box (large t shaped one) check them out one at a time until you either get it working or you eliminate a possible relay failure. But to make it easier, there is one on the rear labeled as ACC. remove and change this one first. While you are there, check to see if you have a targa leak and that its not causing the fuse box to short. as it will run down that side and empty the water out on the rear of the fuse box
  18. saffy how much are you looking to pay for a engine, i think is the best one. also is yours auto or manual?
  19. i have one as well, still has a turbo seal gone on drivers side, but the engine runs and you can see it running before taking it off the car. also has the wiring harness yet you would be better off buying a new one, would also need a new plenum.
  20. Use loo roll like everyone else
  21. I fully agree, to me a good advert, that is well spelt WITH OUT USING ALL CAPS or Enlarging the lettering because they think your eyes are shyte OR BOTH A well thought out informative advert makes it look like they want to sell and that they take care in the upkeep of the vehicle. PS, appearance has two P's in it lol
  22. True but that might just be the seller and not the owner.
  23. Guys, not having a go here, but I've put a card in the window with our club name and website on it, I'm sure if she (been noticed as a female driver) pops onto the club and see's all the comments, that shes not going to stick around long. Ok she is selling it. so the likely hood that they will visit the club is minimal. it would be nice if they got a warm welcome. you never know they might of bought the car like that. As for spelling, yes we know there are spell checkers out there. but not many people know how to use them, and as someone already mentioned. it might not be their first language as we have a lot of immigrants who work and live in wellingborough.
  24. lol just been to my local industrial estate to enquire about a MOT for the zed, only to pass a black zed on the way out, so nipped home quick and grabbed one of the 300zx.co.uk cards filled it out and stuck it in the window. Came home was just about to check Ebay for some zed parts before i have to nip out again, and low and behold the bloody things listed on ebay lol http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-NISSAN-300-ZX-2-2-BLACK-/260679445400?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cb1b4ab98 Any one recognise this car?
  25. there is someone who lives near me, he cant walk for shit, uses a Cain, hands all over the backs of other peoples cars to steady him self, takes 15mins to walk the 25meters or so to his car, when reversing he makes sure both rear tires are on the curb before he rolls back forward to park, and the law says hes fit to drive? wtf is this country coming too
