  1. average size for a music album on mp3 @ 128bit, is around 197meg. so quite a few matey.
  2. no not on the struts, it will on steering arms etc. as long as they ain't leaking or rusty to point of being dangerous. mine just flew through the mot with the damn things virtually hanging off. and the MOT guy was picky as well, as he thought my LED side lights where blue some how lol
  3. Agree with pub, just rip it off, it you do it carefully it will come off in one go, but if you do it too fast it will rip the tweed and come off in bits and bobs.
  4. any decent garden center would sell decent bushes. personally i like the soft leaf ones, the ones with spikes are ok for keeping the burglars out and neighbors dogs and cats. but a pita to trim with out spiking your self. Get some that flower during the spring as well, will brighten the place up loads.
  5. How are are you getting to JAE?
  6. Might need someone to run me back to mine so I can bring me motor though as I'll have a van. Unless someone is coming with out a zed who doesn't mind driving mine to JAE as long as they are insured to drive any vehicle and don't crash it on the way over lol
  7. I was actually toying with the idea of turning the front end of my breaker into a towable BBQ lol
  8. Ill be getting there early mate, need to set up before the rabble arrive lol
  9. i bet shes on a slim fast diet now shes seen what she COULD look like
  10. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135139 have a read of that, might help a tiny bit lol
  11. dave where abouts are you? if your close enough i could do it for you as long as you have a puller to get the lower crank sprocket off. Also you might want to strip it down and find out why its flopping about, as you might need to replace more than just the water pump and belt. tensioner would be a good idea to replace while there. and front crank seal as well.
  12. your all jealous that mine is still going even though it looks like its lived in London for 20 years, at least the machanical side of things is spot on, and it stops on OEM breaks lol
  13. hi ya bud do you have a number or email address to contact you on?
  14. OMG i won something :D
  15. Shame your not closer, I'm pretty good at changing he bloody thing now, would of done it for you :)
  16. I tried electric guitar string wire once, 12 gauge string, make a hole in the seal with a stan knife, feed the wire through, managed to get the top / drivers side and half way down the passenger side when the wire snagged slipped and cracked the glass, not that it mattered much the screen was already smashed on the drivers side, just wanted to see if I could do it lol
  17. I can get a picture of the offending pipe as I still has my knackered one sitting in the garage if you need to see what I'm on about lol Sorry for hard to understand posts, I'm on my iPhone
  18. I still say it's the pipe and problem I'm on about, out of 3 zx's I've owned I've had this leak on two of them including my latest one, both in the same place. Also confirmed by jefftt as a common fault, he also stocks the replacement offending pipe
  19. If yours is a tt with standard pot, remove air intake pipes, you will see at the back of the pot there is a banjo connected pipe that goes towards the alternator, under te car you will seethe pipe most likely covered in power steering juice lol, follow that towards the passenger side of the car, you will need two different sized spanners, a 14mm and a 19 (possibly 17mm can't bloody remember now) undo the copper nut and let the power steerig fluid drain from here as it's the lowest point. Undo the two clasps that hold the pipe to the cross member using a 10mm socket and ratchet. (the hard part as you have to get to the bolts from ontop while under the car-trust me it makes sense when your there) Now undo the banjo bolt at the pot and feed the cable down and out, ooh at this point it's best to have a known good replacement lol, once it's out you get the fun of feeding the new pipe through, the old one will be held in place with reusable cable ties but you will most likely end up cutting these off if youcant get to undo them
  20. The pipe comes from the pot down behind the altinator where there is a metal elbow, usually covered by a foam sleeve that deteriorates when power steering fluid contacts it, it then comes Down to the crossmember being held in place by two clamp brackets, then connects to a hard pipe by a copper nut that is attached to the pipe
  21. Only other place I know it leaks from is the pipe that runs from The pot to the lower cross member, there is a metal elbow that gets corroded and then leaks, pita to change
  22. Nice one matey, has he got any tips for removing a windscreen and keeping it intact? As I'd really like to save the brand spankers one sitting on my breaker lol
