  2. i gave it some whiskers lol
  3. aaah ha, right click start > in the search box, type Computer management click the search option under "programs" computer management, go to disk management, and see if its listed in there, if it is you will need to assign a drive letter to the device, once done if it asks for a restart, restart your puter, it should be visible, now just right click the device and select format. please make sure before formatting that it is indeed your pen drive lol
  4. anything clubby, housy, trancy, uplifty, banging lol
  5. thanks matey, will do, going to see whats under the other one once the cars back together lol
  6. Might have to grab that gearbox oil pan off you, the one on the car doesnt even have a drain hole
  7. just for you daffy, 2 weeks ago me and me mate DJ'ed a wedding in milton keynes at the travel inn, think there was a E-type meet going on as the car park was full of E-types. these are the only ones i got a chance to photograph though.
  8. Your not the only one, seems to be taking ages lol keep running into silly problems, got the torque converter on this evening as it had stopped raining enough, slipped the dust plate back in, went to do the gearbox up to the gear lever and realised something was missing lol, so had to go rescue the little arm off the old gearbox, glad i saved the pin and bolty bit now. ran the wires back up for the box, got a strange feeling i should of left the gearbox dipstick on when putting the box back on, as until the engine is level again, i cant feed it down to the box. but going to have to undo one of the gearbox bolts to bolt the dipstick back onto the gearbox. Think i need to source some new auto box oil pipes, as the ones that came with the new box had kinked to the point it would restrict oil flow, and the ones i took off the old box seem to be the wrong shape :confused1: so tomorrows list of things to do. Get the top bolts back on the gearbox, get the Neg wire bolted back on the engine / gearbox, bolt gearbox to underside of car and connect the prop back up. feed the gearbox dip stick back down to the gearbox and bolt in place, see if i can sort something out with these gearbox oil cooler lines and get them connected, connect oil lines from engine oil pan back up to the front of the car. Then its a case of lower turbo intake pipes back in place, plenum on, inter cooler pipes on, Vac piping routing and blanking off of the deleted bits. getting close now :)
  9. yeah i know, cant wait, was going to hit the car again today to get the torque converter on, gearbox bolted up properly, prop shaft on, and heat shield, get the oil lines installed for the auto box, get the pan off the underside off it to give it a good clean out and check to see if the dents that are in the pan are detrimental to the running of the box, get it all back together and then get started on plugging everything back in tomorrow, but all its done is bloody rain today lol
  10. Worth it though, just wait till you have changed it and get problems, and then get the comments "check the wiring loom" lol I still get them even though my loom is less than 3 years old

  17. tell me about it matey, im on my 5th zed, 2 i broke, 1 i swapped for a TT, one was working sweet but with body work issues, now this final one, new engine and gearbox, going to get it a manual gearbox conversion next year anyway as i want it manual, Abflug type 4 on the front, a full respray when i get the sills done properly and the drivers side arch has a few bubbles. Meister R coil overs next year as well, plus getting the VIS racing carbon bonnet and a wheel refurb.
  18. taxed, mot runs out on saturday but should pass once the welding bits are patched and the fabled rear number plate bulb has been changed (3rd bloody zed ive had that problem with lol) and insurance was fully paid up when i took it out :) Cheers Andy, i shall whoop it off once its all bolted back up and have a clean out, see what damage is there or isn't there, might just be a dented pan floor.
  19. if i get me head down tomorrow, tomorrow night :cool3:
  20. Gear box is now back on, if only just, its being held in place by 4 bolts at the moment, need to get the torque converter bolted to the drive plate yet, didn't know there was so much to a blooming N/A power steering pump, the bracket is smaller, and even the adjuster bracket is smaller as well, so had to change all that over as im using my Hicas at the moment. But with the gearbox now back in place and at least bolted to the point i can get the rest of the bolts in, its now just a case of plumbing everything in correctly once the torque converter is bolted up, happy dayz. Only thing thats a bit of a concern, is the gearbox oil pan has quite a bit of dentage going on, not sure what effect thats going to have on the gearbox and if ill be better off changing it for a non dented one. but not long now and the car will be able to move on its own again, hopefully :)
  21. get the pics up bud.

  23. Have you looked into using a log in system with limited access to certain types of media / websites? this would stop them logging on to download torrents / porn and such, i know McDonald's do this. im sure there will be software available for this need. something like this http://www.hotspotsystem.com/
