have you just had the work done? sounds like they didn't bolt the fan clutch on to the pulley properly, thats the only way the pulley is going to go cockeyed

Is it too late for jae tickets?
our dead line for tickets was Sunday, reason being is we have to get the tickets delivered too us, then past on to you, Daz you can still get tickets as the JAE dead line is Thursday the 1st, via the EBAY link in my Ticket thread in my sig. You can only park on the club stand when purchasing a whole weekend ticket, for day passes, you have to park in the JAE carpark and then walk in. sorry JAE rules not mine.

strange one
Time belt doesn't need removing for water pump bud. As for the feeling sluggish thing, could just be a placebo effect

my new add-on
Id say that gang culture and riots start at home, considering the government got involved a few years back (well more than that now) in telling how parents bring their kids up, id say that whats showing at the moment with the youth is pretty much been brought about because of that rule change. When i was young and growing up a bit of punishment dished out in the correct manner soon set me on the straight and narrow. it installed a sense of respect for my parents and of authority. something sadly missing in today's youth with the "you cant punish your kids with smacking" rule. Now granted it was a few people who took the rule and ended up beating the kids half to death, but then that still goes on anyway. So what that rule did was take away the "respect your parents" aspect, and any youth who doesnt respect their own parents sure as hell isn't going to respect the law. Me on the other hand, got a tanned ass with a army belt, sure it hurt to sit down, but i know one thing, i soon figured out, that doing things the correct way hurt a lot less. i also do not have a criminal record, something that was also installed from such punishment. i have a lot of respect of other people, and of the law, and help when and if i can. Reason is, i was taught right from wrong, the old way, with a clipped ear, not this "go sit in a corner" or "sit on the naughty step" crap that kids are getting at the moment. A sticker of someone brandishing a gun on the side of a car, personally is as far removed from riots as, as a advert for coke-cola while saying thats why someone brought there car. Give the kids something to do, punish them properly, give parents the right to install a sense of discipline in their children, tighten up the law, give power back to the police and sort out the judicial system, bring back capital punishment for people who are clear cut nut jobs, take away privileges in prisons, and get inmates doing road repairs and what not like the old chain gangs in the US. sure it wont solve all problems, but i bet it would help. Oh and what doesnt help is when the government, to save a bit of cash, lowers the amount of officers on the beat.

Cooking oil instead of Diesel
its ok, when it comes to the revenue department, they always try and hide the information you need, especially when it comes to tax free stuff lol

my new add-on
Considering everyone has there own tastes (most on here do not like the stickered look) I personally think that if its done correctly can make or break the car its being put on, a larger sticker on the bonnet most likely would of been better then the smaller ones on the side to keep the theme. these were from JAE last year This one needs no indroduction, though this is Airbrushed not decal

Cooking oil instead of Diesel
ooh hum. http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageExcise_ShowContent&id=HMCE_CL_000205&propertyType=document#P150_15716 what i meant by the veggy users forum, is they have gone over this legal aspect with a fine tooth comb taking reference points from offical government documents. PS, it took all of 10 seconds to do a google search with 2500limit for bio fuels, to find what needed to be found.

Hello People! :)
i did read his post, i take it you didn't take notice of my use of smileys, implying that the way you said it sounded like you thought only the manuals were like that. i know you already know thats why i was making a joke out of it, has everyone just got a sudden loss of their funny bones or something? Oh and welcome to the club (not you yowser)

Cooking oil instead of Diesel
You might want to visit a few of the veggie running forums, they have covered in great depth the in's and outs of running cooking oil as fuel, and i can tell you now, you can use up to 2500litres of it BEFORE being taxed on it. You do not pay tax before that 2500, the 2500 limit is there so haulage firms cant take the piss basically, not to stop joe blogs on the street running his car at 45mpg on cooking oil, if you work out how many miles your going to cover on 2500 liters per year, i can guarantee unless your doing 70 miles a day to and from work, your not going to come close to that anytime soon.

First time driving zed without a short shifter !
never had that problem with my short shifter? might of been your clutch settings, I've had a N/A with normal throw, and a TT with short, and i have to say i like the short shift to be honest. Shifting with the short shifter shouldn't make the gear changes any harder to do, its supposed to shorten the time it takes to get it into gear, if that makes sense.

Hello People! :)
You know autos have cruise control? with buttons on the steering wheel as well  :tt2:

Cooking oil instead of Diesel
? your allowed to use up to 2500 litres of the stuff before you have to pay tax on it, considering there isn't a way of telling how much you have used with in the year, its highly unlikely you will get done for tax evasion. I used to run a citroen xantia with a bosch fuel pump on 100% rape seed oil, only in winter did you have to mix a bit of diesel with it to thin it out. if you want a cheap car to run, get a diesel xantia, but make sure its got the bosch pump on it and not the Lucas pump, the Lucas pump cant handle the thickness of the oil compared to the bosch, also you don't have to do anything with the oil, just go into tescos and get some rapeseed oil (vegetable oil) and stick it in the tank, happy driving.

I'd forgotten how good it is to drive!!

Code 54
Jeff i have no idea matey, all i know is im showing the same symptoms of auto box failure on 2 complete different boxes with the same ECU code showing even after code resets.
-
Code 54
think the next thing to find out then, is how long the AT ecu cable is, though by that point i think id have the manual gearbox in.
-
Code 54
tried that, but could also be the AT ECU as i cant communicate with it. Mikey its a auto still lol.
-
Code 54
getting code 54 on OBD scantech nissan, i take it my autotransmission ecu is buggered?

Massive car jolt solved (I think)
looks from that, that the rubber seals on your nose panel are failing and letting water drip onto the Airfilter, well thats what im thinking anyway.
-
WOOHOO Engines in
looking good bud, though isn't your fuel pressure regulator injector rail hard fuel pipe in the wrong place? it should be one rib back and sit in opposite cylinder 4.
-
Massive car jolt solved (I think)
that would only be there from the intake, how low down does your filter sit and more importantly what front bumper do you have?
