this is the second time ive posted about this, 5 zeds and some of the most shocking and downrightly strange electric butchery of all 5 of them? seriously i cant understand it? Just tried to fix my non intermittent wiper issue with the control module that Jeff sent me that arrived today, and to say the wires to the control module were butchered is no exaggeration and im surprised that they even work, spliced wires for no apparent reason, a earth cable that likes to spark even with the ignition off using one of the bolts the modules bracket bolts to the car with that disappears somewhere for no apparent reason and no apparent use? its not part of my dials, cluster or gauges, i can only guess that its coming from the back of the fuse box in the foot well somewhere. Think i might have to start collecting harnesses and at some point rewire the entire car, why cant people just leave fuse boxes to people who can do a decent job? So anyway, changed the control module and wow what a guess, nothing changed...

i think you have to do some serious mods to the body kit to make a zed look chavvy lol I personally think that the zed i posted with the kinda of candy blue, makes it look exotic rather than chavvy. Really want a change of wheels as well, as although i like the ones i have on, id prefer a more 5 spoke design, or even 6 spoke like the ones perpetalzero's DOTs GT-R 19" he has on his ride. I think my best option would to be to stick with blue due to the engine bay, though i have sometime before it happens so..... lol i dunno at the moment, will have a nice long hard think about it, most likely not say anything until it rolls out of the body shop and either shock or surprise people

id only be a harness and 2 bolts away from removing it when i come to do my manual conversion next year anyway :) think i might keep it the same color though, i do like it and it looks fantastic with my 99spec rear spoiler on in black.

had a silver one already bud, always wanted a bayside blue one, and not sure if ive got one or not, think i might just stay bayside blue other wise ive got to rip the engine out and paint the bay the same color lol though, blue bay with a black car wouldnt go to bad.

So what your saying is, black or white but mines better off blue as thats the best color :blink: :lol:

hes on about how he can transfer the number plate over not vin plate, so he keeps the same number plate. Fans, ring DVLA they will know and can advise you on the correct way of doing it.

i think people are concentrating to much on the details and forgetting the message its trying to get across.

you would be surprised just how resilient to water that engine bay is, i was half way though sorting out my over heating problem when it peed it down, i had to much hanging off the bonnet at the time to close it (water proof lights) as it was dark at the time, engine was soaked, but started straight away and once it was up to temp and the bonnet finally closed, didn't take long to dry everything off. Almost all the connections in the engine bay have the rubber grommets in them to stop water getting to the vitals, so unless yours is old and is missing them, or you have exposed wires where the plastic covering is exposing them, doubt you would do any damage, just don't spray up under the big fuse box, id do that bit by hand. hes on about steam cleaning matey not jet washing lol
