  1. I know where they are (though good link for those that do not) I had a hard job getting to them when the bumper was off on my last zed, was just needing to know if I could get to them with it on as my front bumper is blended into my wings so can't take it off :(

  4. not forcing at all, you either subscribe or you do not. but there are other added benefits. sure you can sit and get free advice all day long, you do not have to pay for that, but you also get a welcome pack, PM's, the ability to Sell, Access to the subscribed members section, Editing posts ability and a bit more. But forcing you? nope sorry thats your own choice, just like its the clubs choice as to what benefits it gets you when you do subscribe, we like to offer the people who choose to sub extra functions than those that do not, its called an incentive.
  5. with out flow testing the injectors you wont be able to tell, they might click but doesnt mean its putting fuel into the cylinder, if its firing and fuels getting in to the cylinders you will smell a strong fuel smell from the exhausts as its not burning off and being pushed down the pipes.
  6. i think the biggest issue with the wide body kit is how it makes the ass look strange in relation to the rest of the car, it interupts the flow of the body, the only wide arch kit ive seen that looks stunning on the 300zx, is the Abflug BEETs wide arch kit, that actually widens the intier car from the front arches back.

Well first need to get rid of that code 21 which is PTU, im sure i have a set of 5 injectors, came off my red zed and were working fine before removal (one will need replacing as the protective cap over the injector firer has chipped) but a good base to start from, just checked and yes still have them, they are stock injectors off a manual TT
  9. do you have your phone connected to it via wifi? mine flashes a lot but its just hunting for a return signal lol

  12. just read your other thread, was your car ever a auto? if so id get that reverse sensor plug sorted out, if it still has the auto ecu in it, may be its thinking the car is in reverse so refusing to let it start. but code 21 is defiantly PTU related, ill get my PTU off the car tomorrow and send it to you, its known working good one, and will give me the kick up the butt i need to get my S2 PTU on it lol
  13. are you getting a strong smell of fuel when cranking but no fire? get a photo of your engine bay up. might be able to see something that you have missed. If its cranking, but not firing, then its either the sparks or the fuel getting to the cylinders thats the issue. check the fuse in the small fuse box 30a for the fuel pump, when you first turn the key do you here the fuel pump engage, before you crank the engine?

Did you change it for a S1 PTU? still sounds like the PTU to me, are you getting a spark at the plugs? have you tested them one after the other I changed my PTU once, and it just kept cranking the engine with no fire, changed it back to what i thought was my fooked PTU, and it fired but then i had a misfire when driving that would make popping, so redid the clips and bingo, nice sound driving. Next logical step would be the crank angle sensor, then the coil packs, then the spark plugs.

  16. thats actually hard to hear in that video though might be because ive got my pc hooked up to my 5.1 system so the exhaust drone drowns it out slightly lol, but mine is a lot louder than that, (for those who are not sure what they are listening for, its the higher pitched sound that comes in at 3 and ends around 8 seconds)
  17. next time im out in the car with the mrs ill get her to record it as its quite loud in the cabin, basically the stock recircs leak air back into the pipes, like they should when you close the throttle butterflies, but instead as your boosting, causing the diaphragm inside them to vibrate as the air pushes past and creates a sound most commonly known as goose honk, which is bloody annoying as you can here it in the cabin.

  19. thanks for the link, but think ill go down the vent to atmos route, mine are quite loud even for OEM recircs so its not going to make much off a difference when they go off, not only that, less to plumb in and looks nicer.
  20. well i need a new ISO harness for a OEM stereo as at the moment, even if i wanted to remove the carputer, i wouldn't be able to go back to a normal car ICE system due to the terrible wiring hack someone did on it, then I've got to get a new side mirrors wiring loom as well (thats going to be fun to install) as the other one was chopped and when i rewired it, it shorted and starting filling the cabin with smoke, so had to do what had already been done and cut the wires again. need to get a S2 duel electric seat harness, as although i put a live and neg feed for my electric passenger seat, the drivers seat is still taking its power from the 12v feed of the ciggy lighter socket but its been butchered in that bad, ive had to rewire it so it didn't set alight to the car, and add a fuse in line as well just to be extra careful. Someone had wired in a Japspec foglight at some point on a UK car, but have managed to wire in using the original harness a rear foglight into the reverse cluster, as at least i can use the FOG light button on the dash pods now. And i still need to sort out my S2 PTU and wire that harness direct to my main engine ECU. Arrgghh!
  21. was thinking of coming in the top via the nose panel if i could, just need to get some replacement dump valves now lol, not sure to keep OEM as its auto or go Open atmosphere due to the fact i can get brand new as im going manual next year.
  22. hoping i win the lottery, ill commission someone to make me a aluminum chassis for it, get all brand new wiring looms and rebuild the damn thing my self by hand and get nice tailored interior lol (ooh and a JUN engine build) But in the mean time considering recent events i should be in for a move next year so hope to get a house with a drive or at least back garden parking, if that happens the cars getting stripped to the bone and im going to rewire the whole thing.
  23. so, can you change the recirc valves with the front bumper on the car? as ive got the bloody annoying goose honk when hitting boost. As most are aware one of the last owners had the front bumper blended into wings which inturn are blended into the side skirts, so taking the front bumper off is not going to be possible :( Im still in safety boost as well for some strange reason even though ive got no codes showing in consultz, though im yet to wire up my Profec B spec 2 as im missing some 6mm boost hose.
