  1. not sure i should venture into that thread just incase i close it again.
  2. well had a day off today so thought id actually get around to fettling with my EBC, id already wired it in, but was yet to plumb in all the vacuum hoses. God what a nightmare lol, thought id give the engine a polish while i was in there with all the pipes off. well what can i say, think i need to set it up correctly now, god it boosts fast and hard though im yet to push it as im scared . ive left the OEM boost solenoids in place and left them plugged in as well, but ive removed my OEM boost controller box type thingy, as it wasnt doing anything anyway, didnt even give me a boost gauge movement on the OEM dash one.
  3. i might of accidentally locked it, may have clicked the lock thread when you reply box lol, not sure think jaikai can access the logs though.
  4. Well I never closed it???

  7. thought you might like it :) is that a lambo defuser?
  8. shouldnt do, as its not on the database so they wont know if it rolled out of the factory with cats on. though depends on the year as well. think it was after 92
  9. the flush look does look better, but each to there own, i wouldn't stick that much camber on the rear but i think he was just experimenting with the look.
  10. Just ignore the cali plates  I am actually in love with this, looks fantastic. belongs to a guy called Masters Lee, from the US. Rims in the first 3 pictures are 17x10 + 10 and 17x9+ 10
  11. i think its more to the point that most women are like that, the amount of times ive heard people on these very forums say "i cant have that the wife wont let me" Bigmincey is a lucky chap and voddy is now wondering how much mrs mincey would charge to do my zed seat covers lol

i actually liked the unevenness of the plot last year, meant if you placed your tent right, you had a raised head over your feet and was way more comfortable for sleeping in the tent lol

Quick update, we have the same plot as we did last year, which is on the entrance straight as you come into JAE, im currently waiting on the information pack to be sent through with all the details, but for now going from my notes that i took while at the rep meet. - Show N shine is now moved to Friday instead of Saturday, Show N shine hopefuls can bring there cars in on the Thursday to get set up and start getting preped. - Tunnel run is now being incorporated into the Show, with the event taking place in London, people will be leaving for the tunnel run from 12am Friday night / Saturday morning. doing the tunnel run and coming back. this is to give people more of a chance to do the tunnel run. Cars that turn up on the Sunday (as long as they are jap) will be able to be placed on the stand. more details once i get the rep pack. but these are the important ones.

did indeed, ill be updating the JAE thread tonight to reflect the changes they have made.
  16. looked fecking quick in that video, though id be a bit sceptic about the front of the wheels gripping for corners when sticking the power down.
  17. Only 1 out of 5 worked from the moment i brought it lol The N/A blew 2 conrods just down the road after purchase so i had to replace the engine, the black tt had two blown turbo's so got broken for parts, my cherry red one although drive-able from the word go and admittedly the best one out of the 5, still needed fixing but not to the point it was a MOT failure, then i had a rosso red one that was again beyond repair, and my bayside blue zed that i current have now, required a new engine and a fuse for the gearbox. So to say these cars have tested my loyalty is a understatement, but ive persevered and still have one thats on the road :D
  18. well im guessing its on safety, due to the fact my car will not do above 7psi on boost, though i have no error codes on the ECU and no one seems to have a definitive list of what sticks your car in safety mode. But my N/A was doing 15 to 16mpg, that doesnt have safety boost and only had the usual stuff like decat exhaust and air filter, no modded ecu or engine mods.
  19. If you are worried about the price of fuel then this really isn't the car for you, these cars where built at a time when petrol in the UK was just 56p a litre so back then being economical wasn't a issue, but your real problem will come from maintenance, it can get very expensive very fast and unlike an FTO most garages haven't got a clue about the workings of a zed, they really are not for the faint of heart or shallow pockets. But if you really want to know, id ignore the 20mpg comments and actually look at a more modest 14mpg, having owned 5 zeds, 2 auto's and 3 manuals, 1 N/A and 4 twin turbos, 2 got broken for parts the other 3 were on the road at some time or another, i was getting roughly 15 to 16mpg with my N/A, with my current one being a daily driver, im averaging 14mpg in safety boost. my last twin turbo was pushing 16psi and i was still averaging around 15mpg with that one. and that is with a bit of spirited driving here and there. on a motor way cruise you can get around 25 to 28 mpg if you dont play silly buggers.
  20. Happy birthday matey lol
  21. are they optional extras??
  22. in my jap spec cars, its mainly been coins under the seat rail or under the rear seats. had a receipt once as well but not sure what for as cant read Japanese, also when stripping down the engine out of my first zed i found a dead giant Asian hornet and a locust that had managed to get lodged under the plenum, the hornet was massive (around 4" easily) and im glad it was dead, puts our wasps and hornets to shame that's for sure. Just to give you an idea of how big they get
  23. ive got 19" on mine with out lowering, hell i think you could quite easily get away with sticking 20" on with lowering the car or arch work
