  1. they make all shapes and sizes to fit all wheels
  2. out of interest, where did you get it done and how much as ive been considering getting mine done
  3. it could be the speed sensor on the gearbox . they do go wrong . theres a tech thread on here from jefftt at zedworld . worth a look to see if yours looks like the faulty one in his thread . if you have a speed converter fitted the problem may lie there.
  4. theres a little fuel pipe to it that is prone to leaks . just nip up the clips as they loosen over time
  5. the front hubs need drilling out to 14mm . then its a straight forward fit
  6. theres a place not far from me . they are called nutters fasteners . they are based in birmingham and should have a website, ive recently had a full bolt kit for a set of brembos off them . all in all it cost about £15
  7. get the rear jacked up and test for play in the rear wheels . give them a good left and right wobble . any play will be wear in the rear joints which would feel horrible when driving . if the rear shocks are original it stands a good chance that these will need replacing . another thing that can affect the feel on the back can be having a converter fitted to your speedo as this can affect the hicas (rear steering)if its a jap import . there are also the sub frame bushes that can give a loose feel on the back . the main thing is not to panic as we have all had similar issues with our zeds due to their age . they are all problems that are fairly easily fixed . my advice to you if you are new to zeds is as money allows fix all worn suspension parts and brakes before anything else . another easily fixed problem that it might be is if budget tyres are fitted . even if their tread is still plentiful they are not suited to a zed . good luck with it and hopefully its just a small problem. andyzx

  17. can anyone recommend a place to get brake discs re-skimmed / resurfaced in the west midlands . also any idea of the cost cheers
  18. im currently in the process of doing my brake upgrade . ive got a set of ap racing 330mm cross drilled and a set of 350z un drilled 324mm. both sets are in good nic but both would benefit from a light skim . im trying to find some reviews on how they perform against each other as i need to get one set skimmed and fitted . the aps are 28mm thick and the 350z are 32mm thick . on the eye the aps win handsdown and are also only half the weight of the z33 discs . any reviews from anyone who has used either or both would be very much appreciated cheers
