  3. its a common problem mate . dodgy plugs on zeds cause all sorts of issues . its just a case of working your way through them . one of my next jobs is injector plug replacement

  5. first time for me out with the club and very enjoyable . a big thankyou to kim for the organising and the welcome . also it was nice to meet some of the other members and cars . once again WELL DONE KIM and thanks for making it a sucess andy
  6. BARNSTORMER made by bath ales . lovely dark drink with a hint of chocholate. im getting thirsty now
  7. started reading this thread and gave up half way through . we are all on here for one shared reason . we all have a love for the nissan 300zx . we are not man u fans or liverpool or rangers etc , just z fans . lets keep it about the cars and keep it real . helping each other out with car issues and help . i joined because i had very little knowledge about the 300 after buying one and still know next to nothing compared to other forum members . this is a source of learning for our cars and not anything else. we could all spend hours bickering with the other half about the price of fish but if we need to know why our cars are running like sh1t we come on here. long live the zed andy
  8. have you got a sub fan relay please jeff
  9. no smell to it at all . certainly nothing unpleasant anyway
  10. alright mate . it has got the feel of brake fluid about it . where exactly should i check for the leak point . is there some type of valve behind the pedal

i took mine into a local garage when i first got it for a service . when i went to collect it she was bloody red hot and one of the younger mechanics told me that it had pissed all over the owners subaru down the dual carriage way. so im guessing it got top ended . needless to say i aint been back since . luckily i discovered zedworld just after . now theres a place you like you car to be test driven
  14. looking good mate . gonna make sure i dont park to close to yours . dont wanna see people smiling at yours then tutting at mine lol see ya on sat
  15. welcome buddy . as chris said try and get along to JAE . there will be loads of zeds there from standard to outragiously modified and no better place to chat with owners who will be able to tell you what to look out for .
  16. did you fit new pads or put your old one back in . if using your old ones its best to deglaze them . a gentle rub on the nearest curb stone usually does the job . when you bled your brakes did you do the abs unit in the boot .
  17. nice to see another kitchen / workshop like mine .
  18. while messing around in the car today i found a damp patch of carpet pretty much in the middle under the brake pedal . lifted the carpet for a better look and the damp area felt sort of greasy . is this the dreaded heater matrix . the damp patch is in a central position on the carpet as opposed to being wet down the side of the centre console . how difficult is this job gonna be for a 6"3 bloke with sausage fingers? cheers andy
  19. my relay for the sub fan is missing. can another relay be used in this location ? ive done a search for this but not really turned up any answers . from old posts it does seem like these are missing off a few cars , i was wondering whether there might be a reason / issue for having them removed . if anybody has one of these lying around i would be very gratefull of it . cheers andy
  20. after the first impact he would of been out of it . tragic accident but the lad died doing something he loved . his last memory will be knee down at 150. RIP
  21. always start with the cheap things first . fuel filter is about a tenner . the one i replaced on mine looked pretty new but like i said earlier the fuel nowadays is full of crap . since changing mine shes run a lot lot better . up till now its the best bit of maintenance ive done on the old girl
  22. if there was room for only one car it would be a COBRA .
  23. looks really good mate . i,d go for black wipers now mate
