there was a feature on zed cars from over the years

i pulled up outside my daughters house the other week and this young kid about 12 asked me what car it was . was it a porsche or a ferrari . i just smiled and told him he better watch top gear that week .

todays job was to remove the water temp sensors and give them a good clean up . the connecters were shot and full of crap . the wiring was very hard and brittle so i cut it back about 3 inches . the core of the wire was still nice and supple so just crimped in a new section and replaced the original plugs with insulated spade connecters . ive now got nice clean rock solid connections on both senders .i just put a blob of silicon on top of the spades to keep everything nice and water tight . cost of job was about £1 . a very easy mod and im pretty sure this is gonna be a big help in getting her running nice and smooth.

has anybody ever tried going into nissan and asking for a replacement ptu . i know there was a recall on these in america and possibly japan but not the uk . as a lot of our cars are imports would we still be covered . ive thought about going and doing the asking but nissan dont seem to recognise the 300 anymore .

alright stella . treet dogs like little kids . clean his ears off with luke warm water and wipe a bit of olive oil around just inside his ears. its probably an allergy to something or other . i know you have to sell a kidney nowadays to see the vet but for peace of mind mate its the only way to go. good luck with him and hope the big briuser is feeling better soon .

i had a similar leak to the one in the boot . turned out water was getting in under the rubber seal under the rear wiper . i just lifted the seal and put a spot of silicon under the seal . jobs a good un

well theres the twins at the front . tailgate up on the 1 , red one behind next to the smart which leaves the red bumper which doesnt seem attached to anything unless its been run over by a tank

we all spend £30-40 0n locking nuts to make sure our wheels stay on our cars while we sleep . we should all make sure they stay on the car while we are driving it .

just fitted some new wheels today . as a precaution i went to my local wheel shop to check out the nuts that were on the car . it turned out that they were not seating properly and were infact dangerous . new nuts and hey ho the jobs a good un. it just made me wonder how many other members could be running with the wrong type of nuts on their alloys . it only takes a few minutes to get them checked and could prevent a catastrophic accident . well worth getting them checked for the peace of mind .

jeff fixed my det sensor problem . small resistor and about 30 seconds . that man should ware a cloak and a pointed hat . potter aint got nothing on him

just spent a couple of hours installing my new led fogs that i got off zedwizz. what a difference they make to the rear end . they are a really good bit of kit . highly recommended.

nice 1 jeff . im not sure whether im around saturday . ive got a busy 1 planned . been trying to get through loads of jobs on the z lately . mostly cosmetic but need to get the girl running nice over the next couple of weeks as im taking her on a nice long run to the coast . i,ll give you a call over the next week or so and bring her over . cheers mate andy
