  2. cheers for that groover . them was the figures i was after .
  3. i have a bit of an uneven idle on the old girl at the moment . have been advised that it could be a faulty water temp sender / connecter . if there is a fault in this area can the senders be tested with a voltmeter . does anybody know what the voltage range is on these as the temperature rises . cheers
  4. gutted for you mate . looking at the pics it doesnt look like its creased so a good panel beater / coach builder should be able to push that out fairly easily . if its a stock paint code i reckon you are looking around the £200 mark for a finished job . a bitter pill to swallow but hopefully not as bad as you first thought. andy
  5. congrats mate . hes a little beauty
  6. im a big fan of the safety aspect of run flats but not a fan of the teeth rattling ride they give . is anybody running these on their zed . my concern is when you take the suspension give away from the tyres is it likely to ware other components in the cars suspension . has anybody had any issues with this . cheers andy
  7. welcome to the club mate . im just in the process of refurbing a set of those alloys . nice to see how they are gonna look on my zed . i must say you have bought a lovely looking zed . good luck andy
  8. i had a similar issue and it was the idle valve . needed a clean . i never done the job so i cant offer any advice on how to do . jeff at zedworld did mine and was much better afterwards
  9. hi all . the zed has started idleing a little erratically . it seems to be hunting a little and after a while she cuts out . starts again straight away but if left idleing will cut out again . on the to do list are ; change fuel filter pcv valves . poss fuel damper ptu for a series 2 when i can get the sub harness is it possible that 1 or more of these could help with the problem . another problem that she has is hessitation on initial pull away but none whilst driving . any advice or pointers will be gladly recieved . cheers andy
  10. can anyone tell me why a uk spec reads from -14 to +14 and a jap spec reads from -7 to +7 are there any differences with the standard boost . cheers guys andy
  11. can any of you wheel guru,s help with the size of the spigots needed . obviously i need to check the bores on the new wheels but what is the stock bore needed for a stock hub . i know its around the 66mm mark but can anyone give me the exact size required . cheers guys

  14. just been and got them . fronts are 8.5jj and rears 9.5jj . off sets of 35 on both front and rear . im gonna have to get some spigot rings to bring down from about 72mm. is the zed 66mm . am i likely to need spacers anywhere to bring out near flush . ive got standard arches and brakes. cheers guys actually si they look very similar to whats on yours . please dont tell me yours have been nicked. what is the name of the wheels
  15. alright mate . welcome to the club . looks like you left one of your mats on the drive lol . mine were filthy when i got mine but stuck them in the washing machine and they came out fine . never put them back in the car though , they weigh loads
  16. im off to view a set of wheels later on . they are currently fitted to a maxda rx7 . the sizes are front 225 x40 x 18. rears 255 x 35 x 18 . im sure there is scope to increase both front and rear a little . maybe 245 front and 265 /275 rear . not sure what the offsets are . does anybody know if the hub sizes and offsets for a mazda rx7 is similar to the zed . especially the hub . unfortunately i cant take the zed to do a trial fit as shes in a few pieces at the moment cheers andy
  17. there is a common leak point for zeds . its just under the pot itself which drips into the alternator . not good at all that one . and the other place is on the unions behind engine . (if you drew an imaginary line across car from back of front wheels ) its roughly there in centre. my advice though would be go to quick fit for a free brake inspection and when its up on the ramps go under and have a look . these are common faults . if i remember correctly mine was fixed at zedworld and cost about £130 parts and labour
  18. alright mate . what paint did he use on your calipers . any chance of a write up
