serious amount of money spent on that machine . cant believe he never mentioned the fog light in the bad points . spent all that money and then stuck a boil on its arse. lol

i didnt know that matey . when i got mine i,d got the above mentioned leak and it caused havoc . the leak wrecked my alternater . caused havoc with my hair loss aswell . lol

just a thought . if your hicas light is on you may be low on fluid . if this is the case is it leaking from the pipe under the reservoir . this is a common fault with zeds . right below the prone pipe is the alternater . power steering fluid leaking in to the alternater can cause electrical mayhem . just have a check to see if the pipe under the reservoir is showing signs of fluid . if it is this could be the cause of your problems .

i had a similar issue with mine . turned out to be injector connections .

just checked out that site for the harness . looks like it is a series 2 . a bit pricey the harness. cheers mate

alright chaps . can anyone tell me if this part number is for the seies 1 or series 2 ptu the numbers on it are as follows 22020 97e00 D156-02 3y29 also i dont fancy hard wiring it if it is a series 2 , would prefer the plug and play loom . has anyone got one or know the best place to pick one up from . cheers guys

ive just tried this . mines a jap and the top mount hole for the seatbelt isnt there . it can be done but the panel would need reinforcing . im going back too the lap belts . lets face it , who sits in the back any how

was it painted with cellulose or like mine did you have to go down the water based route. my painter told me that the whole trade now has to use water based due to the whole in the sky . looks good but not as good as cellulose . apparently all new cars now are painted with water based paint. and no mines not magnolia before anyone asks!

hi folks . just gone to upgrade my series 1 jap 2 point rear belts to series 2 three point . i just took it for granted that the fixing points would be there . should have known better . could anyone who has the three point belts post up a picture of the rear window plastic trim please so i can see where the fixing point goes please . if anyone else has done this mod any advise would be much appreciated. cheer andy

if it sounds like a bubbling noise its probably the AIV ,s . located behind the splash guards under front wheel arches . they gather water over time . simple fix , just undo the clips and let the water out . mine used to sound like a jacuzzi . there is 1 both sides

are you sure its not coming from above you head by the map reading light . theres a little fan in there that often makes a noise .

i had an intermitent knocking on mine . worth checking . the crankshaft pulley had came loose on its rubber mounting and under different loads it was moving and occasionally catching the block causing a terrible knocking sound . new pulley and problem solved . jeff at zedworld spotted the problem and quickly sorted it . have a chat with him .

saw a silver zed by pipe hayes park today about 4.30ish with a red targa panel . i thought it was mine being taken for a spin as its in the paint shop again just round the corner. if i hadnt spotted the targa i,d have gone steaming in there and made a complete pratt of myself lol

carefully peel off the vynil . rub down to remove yellow crap and use spray carpet glue . a good tip is to warm the vynil before you stick it back down .
