Check out Setrab oil coolers very good quality with reasonable costs. I think you can get them in the Uk as well the usual USA vendors

A few spotted bits on ebay that I can't afford to buy.....
Yes they are. I have these SMIC on my car and they great. Very well built and are massive! They used to be available on the AMS web site but have recently disappeared

7 year stretch
Nice one Gary

02 sensors
I dont think you can get genuine ones from the UK, only crap pattern parts. I think your only option for genuine Bosch is the likes of CZP.

have a look.see what you think.
Look like a good gauge. Dont forget to order x2 though

Is it worth the aggro?
Yes hope to use the car on a couple of track days. The disks that came with the rear Brembos are 297mm dia so no added benefit there
-
Is it worth the aggro?
Thanks for all the info guys, look like a set of rear Brembos will going on eBay shortly. Joely at the moment I do have Brembos on the front although I'm not sure if they are up to the task of stopping the car atm. The brake system needs bleeding, once I have done that I will see if the Brembo fronts are up to the job, but if I was a betting man I think they will need upgrading to something bigger.
-
Is it worth the aggro?
Have a set of single pot rear Brembos from an R33 with disks (300mm). Question is are they going to be any real improvement over the OEM rears? or should I just look at D2 or K sport rears

AFR gauges and position
Noel is that because the standard holes are to close or far from the turbos?

AFR gauges and position
Iirc the bung hat you need to fit in the down pipe is the same thread size as the Lamda sensors, whatever that is, lol. Bungs are available from eBay, if they don't come with your gauge. As for the location the position from turbo is mentioned in the gauges instructions. If you look at the AEM gauges online is does say how far from the turbo the sensor should be located. Looking to do this to mine later this year when I get her back. Mine will be going in the OEM Lamda locations as I'm not runnning 02 sensors. Good luck what gauges you going for?

OEM or Aftermarket bits??
FYI OEM sensors I thought were only available from the USA anyway.

i know but ?
Alan, I know that you want a high powered setup. But trust me you are going to have to buy from a well known 300zx specialist. Whether that CZP, Speciality Z, Or Z1 is up to you. I would strongly recommend that if your going down this route to do it once and do it with the most respectable supplier and brand that you can afford. Buying from an unknown eBay supplier, with potentially "knock off" products is only going to end badly. If your going to pay someone to pull your motor then expect to be looking at anything from £800-£1200 and upwards. If you end up with inferior turbos and it all needs come out again soon because you bought "cheap" first time round you are soon going to spending out more than what you saved initially. Obviously if your doing the work yourself then it's just the aggro you face of doing the job again. If I were you I would save up or take out a loan and be done with it once and for all. Once you start down the route for more power it's never ending mate, and you an easily spend 8-12k once finished! Not having a go Alan, but please think and buy carefully.

How low can you go?
