Nipple help#?
This is embarrassing, after replacing all of my brake lines on the car, I had one line that I spent an age trying get the new flare and 10mm nut to seal properly. I must have made up to 4 lines in total before finally today the little barsteward stopped weeping. The weep was so small you would only know it was leaking if you rammed a blue cloth tight up against the pipe and the back of the nut, and when you removed it the cloth would be a slightly darker blue. Anyway checking the nipples on the ABS unit I discovered I had a similar leak. So small that it only noticed after mashing he brake pedal 5-10 times and again hold a rage against the underside of the nipple. After tightening, pumping the pedal 4-5 times it was still leaking! So with two hands I gave the nipple/nut a harder twist and............. :cursing: Is it worth even trying to remove the remanent of the nipple of just be done with it and a buy a second hand one? (Or just burn the bloody car!) So pissed off that I wish that I had never started now, with the subframe and brakes etc Was hoping to reinstall the subframe tomorrow and finally go for a drive, the first of this year. Guess that's going to have to wait now for a week or so now:angry::angry: Rant over

Steering wheel Boss help?
Looking at fitting my nice Momo wheel tomorrow, I have just realised I have a HICAS boss kit, which I bought ages ago. I have recently removed my hicas sytem, so will this boss still work without HICAS or do I need to buy a new boss kit?

Did you end up blanking off the top and bottom outlet that connected to the diff cooler, or did you join both with a hose?

Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panel posible group buy. Register of interest
Still interested in this Ian, depending on the finish of your first one. Good point TonyB rasied about the gloss level on the part. Satin may work better.

Boxhill to Brighton run - Sunday 2nd July
Ok guys, I will get the date changed to July 2nd, as looking at the National events calendar that doesn't clash with anything. Can a mod please change the title to Sunday July 2nd?

Boxhill to Brighton run - Sunday 2nd July
Right here we go again guys..... So about time I think for another run to Brighton, seeing as last year seemed to go down well, any takers for another trip to the coast? Meet @ 9.00am (ish) Car Park at the foot of Boxhill, just opposite the Burford Bridge Hotel, RH5 6BX (http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-...el/index.shtml) No great rush to leave, I seem to remember that here is a burger/van or similar so perhaps we can grab a coffee/tea, have a chat etc before heading off.

Rear drop link help
Do you need the length of the OEM units only? as I have my rear drop links off the car currently, but there are from a Stillen anti roll bar. They will be for sale soon as I have new front and rears on the way from the US, if that's of any help?

Scuttle replacement
Seem to remember doing men with a small screwdriver and needle nose pliers. You can buy new fixings if you damage them, Mike Fenny sells them.

Fuel hardline 'Y' piece
Hi, at the rear of the Zed between the sub frame and under side of the car there are 3 main flexible fuel lines (that to metal pipes & run to the front) and a small black canister (circled red). Two of the fuel lines are joined with a metal 'Y' piece (circled in green). If anyone has a breaker that may still have the fuel line and potential this section please let me know. I have had a member look on an early car 1989, and the Y pipe was not there so it may only appear on later models. My car is a 1994 UK spec.

Rare parts thread
Anyone have an idea what these go for? I know these are rare, but would £500 be a reasonable price?

Subframe bushes, removal - Options?
Cheers hanks for the tip on the cable ties, I will give that a go on the remaining pipes. Already borrowed a similar tool for the pipe flaring, it's not to bad once you have done a couple. Hopefully finish the pipes this weekend, just need a couple of coats of Hydrate 80 and sealer then should be good to steady re assembling everything.

Ace cafe- incarnation - Brighton 22 April
Should be ok for this just need to get the new brake lines finished, bleed brakes, underseal the rear section of the car. Fit the subframe back on. Get a 4 wheel alignment done and fit the new Momo steering wheel.
