On mine I just cut off the small "return" that would foul on the rear of the new disk if left on. So you are left with the OEM back plate still in situ. Hope that helps? I may have photos on my phone if you need anything else.- Boxhill to Brighton run - Sunday 2nd July
Nice video Ali, well done!- Boxhill to Brighton run - Sunday 2nd July
Great day out today, lovely weather and a nice run down to the coast, apart for the last 5 mins, where my SATNAV took us down some very narrow and congested roads. Still the view from the beer garden was stunning along with the good company! Hope everyone made it back home safely? I know I have some serious sunburn on my head. I will look to do another one of these perhaps in September.- Rear Subframe Bushes

Thought i would give this a little bump as it is just over 2 weeks until this now......a quick reminder to the guys who have expressed an interest in this, and others who may want to join us. Meeting point here as before - Burford Bridge Hotel, RH5 6BX (http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-...el/index.shtml) @ 9.00am It was a great turn out last year, with a great pub the Smugglers Rest @ Peacehaven, right on the edge of the coastline, with superb views and good food. http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/restaurants/south-east/thesmugglersrestpeacehaven Couple of photos from last year- broken.. head gasket saga.
Don't bother with Cometic head gaskets, stick with OEM- Nipple help#?
Stephen I will trying that technique of "seating" the nipples tomorrow. I'm fast going off the brakes as well tbh :hammer:- Tracking & wheel aligmnet?
Great job done by the technician at Guildford Tyre Co. using their Hunter Hawkeye kit. As you can see from the first reading once my car was setup, it had some interesting numbers! After an 1hr everything was looking much better. The drive home was a blast! Sorry about the pictures (iPhone pah)- Happy Birthday Redwine300
Happy Birthday- Tracking & wheel aligmnet?
Yes you are right. Just been out and filled up with Shells finest. I am glad it's only 12 miles to the garage tomorrow as the rear is all over the place, when it comes to drive-ability:oops:- Nipple help#?
Well the saga continues...... having bought 3 different types of nipples (as in the seat/angle of the nipple) none of them effect a seal. In fact all of them are worse than the OEM ones. I have some OEM ones being sent by Jimmer soon, (cheers Jim) and I have ordered another pair this time in steel rather than s/steel. I will be attempting to "gently grind" the land area, with the nipple as others on here have suggested. - Fitting a Big Brake Setup
