  1. JDM Z's souldn't be put up to the cat test anyway, as they're not on the emissions database. Which is why my De-cat JDM Z (registered in '98) passes the non-cat test. Pretty much this is what this HID fiasco is all about. People putting these kits in inappropriate headlight housings that just blinds everyone. If any questions are asked come MOT time for our cars (especially the JDM's) and the kit has been installed very neatly (read: looks stock). Then you could play the "It was built that way" card and damned if they could prove otherwise.
  2. Expect some Balloon, yes. Not unlike this.
  3. You'll get 305's on a 10" wide rim.
  4. What's the profile/aspect of the 265's
  5. Thats a bit of a steep asking price for a Lefty.
  6. Count me in.
  7. Depends! how low are you going?
  8. I see no negative implications of a solid pipe.
  9. That's pants. Can't you get Virgin media in your area?
  10. DVLA doesn't show anything for that reg.
  11. Space between characters has to be 11mm. They sold you a car with dud plates.
  12. Front looks fine, rear looks a bit too low from that angle.
  13. That door handle is sticking out quite a bit! Nothing a :smash: can't fix.
  14. My rear setup is the stock arms set to their max negative camber. That's it. 9.5" with 265's on a offset of 20. So 35 should be cake. I believe the scientific term is "Hellaflush"
  15. That's RTV, close, I'll give you that. Expensive in comparison to paste. But you gotta be a pretty special snowflake to screw up assembly paste.
  16. Exhaust Assembly Paste. Silicone sealant is best saved for the bathroom.
  17. Follow the wires. Document your journey so we all may learn something from your adventure into the unknown.
  18. Automotive flavour Nitromors will make short work of that.
  19. Football and Cricket and so on have all gone the same way. I'm sure all the current whining will be short lived. And it pretty much is all about the money it costs for the BBC, as all these sports are going commercialised the exclusive rights are all going to go to the highest bidder. They don't have an unlimited bugdet, and lord knows the bodies behind F1 would take them for every penny if they could. Just to put it in perspective, how would you feel if your license fee rose because the BBC paid mega bucks for exclusive rights to show something you're not even interested in? If you want to watch F1, pay for it. Or go to the pub.
  20. I for one will be glad to see F1 go. I hope that packing off F1 to Sky will mean that there will be much more variety of racing genres televised. Not to mention the cash that will be freed up for the BBC for other programming.
  21. And take your head off the moment you touched the catch!
  22. Who supplies strut braces like that? All I've ever found are crappy hinged ones.
  23. Exactly. And in the spirit of keping this topic on-topic, consider the possibility of a leaky valve stem seal.
  24. Back pressure has nothing to do with it at all. Ever. Putting the cats back on would do a little to mask the smoke, but nothing to remedy the problem. Scrap the cats and put the money towards the part cost of a rebuild.
