Japspeed decats - are they just wrong?
Tried telling me they do fit, I was doing it wrong etc, but then I pointed out it was on a ramp at a nissan main dealership that I worked for, they went quite and returned/ refunded them, have to say the cat back I bought at the same time from them was a good fit thought,

Japspeed decats - are they just wrong?
Sent mine back to them, a few years ago, when the did the same on my NA, they tried to argue but it was on a nissan ramp at work, bought some off a member after that,

Na to tt conversion
No offence taken until you refered to the silver one as an Na...:sneaky2: Hehe.

Na to tt conversion
I think when the previous owner had the heater matrix blow, he didn't dry it out properly... I've never seen a hole like that in a zed before. Was still damp under the sound deadening.... Problem is I'm stupid when it comes to zeds. I don't see the colander, I see the 600hp car I've wanted to build for years, maybe I should have my eyes checked... Or head examined...

Na to tt conversion
Thing is I agree, we need to save these particularly a factory '95 twin turbo slicktop manual. Had a very long chat with our bodyshop manager yesterday, long story short I'm try to buy the na I've seen, but probably not for the a new shell, the silver one is staying at our bodyshop long-term, don't expect it to be done for months and months. But their treating it as an in house project, their confident it can be repaired, (eventually) I'd give it ago myself but I've no place to do it. And it's mot runs out soon.

Na to tt conversion
I came back from our bodyshop so annoyed wasn't really thinking, I'm going to buy an na anyway, but I've messaged jimmer and asked him to cancel my slot, I'll source a new bodyshop and rebook with him once it's done. Feel like a idiot, hopefully jimmer can book something else in, It's ashame bodymech is so far or id take it to them.

Na to tt conversion
Right hyperphtically, if I had an na slicktop and a tt slicktop from the same year, how easy would it be to convert the na to twin turbo? I ask because our bodyshop has really annoyed me as my zeds untouched.... Seen a nice na on eBay, as well as been offered one on here, both less then I was paying to repair the body of my current slicktop... With a complete donor( having alot replaced/ rebuilt) is it a viable alternative?

Just need petrol stations and speed camera locations now and we're set... Lol Nice job though, does make it obvious bluewater is a good location really.

Let's talk turbos...
None as yet, not sure there much to see. There's not getting as far as I'd hoped, ordered my bits from z1, GT675RS turbos, 740cc injectors and a rail. Waiting on my walbro 450 pump to turn up too, all very boring at the moment lol.

I could always bring those downpipes up one evening if you want a hand.

Did you have the plenum off? Check the connectors on you injectors too, they can go green and cause issues. Assuming you were careful with the ptu and cas, when you had the front apart? Although an air leak won't help.

If you get stuck and need a hand Ali give me a shout. Bored without my zed. What are the symptoms?

I'd be up for meeting in Hailsham even if it's just a few of us one evening, but at the moment I'm a few months off have a road worthy zed so might miss the best of summer

Injector problems
16600-40p07 early injectors are £142.81 + vat each from Nissan, Late injectors 16600-21u01 £118.07 + vat each, (but you'd still need an adapter kit) Have you tried mjp?

Injector problems
I'll check at work tomorrow, but I suspect direct from Nissan they are alot more, There's probably UK suppliers of Nismo/ uprated injectors, but most are new style injectors from what I've seen, Not sure what modifications are needed to fit early manifold, but my late fuel rail and 370cc injectors will be removed in a few months,

Injector problems
If your not chasing power, then I'd stick to factory injectors, don't need a remap, as you've said lasted for a long time already, particularly if your staying on stock turbos etc. Not sure best place to buy, but I bought my 740cc injectors from z1, I know they (and other us stores) sell adapters to fit late injectors into an early rail. Imo new style injectors are better,

Stock fuel system limitations at high HP
Just suggested the pump as yours wasn't up to it with OE pipes. But you've found a much more efficient solution to the problem then just a bigger pump Unfortunately I'm using a remapped OE ecu so won't have the same safe guards as you, If you don't mind me asking how many meters of pipe did you need? Will probably do mine if you get the results you were after.

Stock fuel system limitations at high HP
Nice work. Be interested in your results, Mines also a 95 but I have chosen to replace the OE rail, I wouldn't trust my welding, seemed like an unneccessary weak point, How does it look under the zed, any trouble routing the larger pipework?

Stock fuel system limitations at high HP
That's a really interesting read, thanks for posting, Been trying to work out fueling for my zed that's about to have its rebuild, again with 740cc injectors, Sounds like the fuel pump I just bought would be ideal for you, walbro 450lph, should still fit in OE place, at 80psi flows 273lph according to the chart. Thought of a cryo2 system? One configuration is to use the co2 to cool the fuel lines...

Na manual.
With my slicktop under going major work, and the need to look after it once it's fine, I'm after an na as a project. Really regret selling my old one, Not too worried about condition, spec, type, ideally a manual, as I plan to drift it again, and doing a European rally at some point. Ideally Road legal or neat enough, and ad cheap as possible,

Anyone going to Japday this weekend?
