  1. 220 quid. But they needed painting. Are in decent conition visually hopefully they are in decent physical condition aswell lol. I think the evo brakes can be found quite cheap. As there are loads of them about.
  2. Yh ill post pictures of everything I break
  3. New drilled and grooved disks for my new evo brembo brakes. Plus braided hoses and adaptors for calipers. Just got too fit them now. Probably start on it early tomoro. Hopefully I dont balls it up. :)
  4. the reason i said local is because i also trust jimmer. However i would be stuck without Zedworld being almost on my doorstep. Just because Zedworld exists makes me not want to sell my car, as i know, no matter what problems pop up Jeff can probably fix it, when i know that no other garage would probably have a clue, or would care more about taking it out for a test drive than sorting any issues out. Zedworld is Awesome
  5. The only local person i trust 100% with my zed.
  6. ive done the trims on mine. used black paint and clear coated them after. they look better after a quick repaint. will buy new ones one day but they are expensive. can of paint for a tenner will get them to last at least a year. biggest issue i find is putting the trim back on. i think im a bit heavy handed when removing them and i snap clips.
  7. cool cheers groover. ill wait till i get my new tyres then see how it looks.
  8. and 10mm spacers all round? got a link to good ones?, ebay have allsorts but id like my wheels to stay on.
  9. i just checked my tyres : fronts: 215/40/zr 18 89w rear: 255/35/zr18 94y i have no clue what it means but i want wider tyres and a better stance.
  10. mine are in need of a refurb. up close they look a bit tired and crap. yh fronts ill probably keep the same rear i was told a could possible get 285's at a push. i takeit wheel spacers are safe then? iv hear mixed reviews. might get myself some just to fill the arches a bit more.
  11. thanks all. makes a bit more sense to me now the new lines im getting are braided ones so hopefully are screw on jobbies, will save me a lot of time and hassle.
  12. thanks was yours evo brembos or r33? i dunno if they are the same?
  13. no sorry. the kit just contains a list of everything i will get. which is new braided hoses, mounting brackets, new disks and bolts for fiting calipers to the brackets it claims its everything i need bar the evo calipers which i have already got.
  14. They are still on the car I havent removed the stock ones yet. Do I use them still with the brembos. In the kit im buying I get new brake lines. How do they work with this stock piece you are showing? . Sorry I havent looked into the fitting process too much till I have everything I need. Any help explaining will be very beneficial to me
  15. [ IMG] [/img] yes I have lost a center cap too. They are nice wheels when clean. But im trying too find out what limit tyres I can get away with ie wider on the rear maybe a tad lower profile.
  16. Hi mate, i see your wheels on the wheel wizard thread. the decorsa ones. do you know the rims sizes for both fronts and rear? the reason i ask, is i have the same wheels but dont knw how to find out the rims sizes. Thanks
  17. Hi all I have my Brembo brake calipers off an evo 8 painted up and ready to go on once payday comes around in a week. however on the brakes themselves i only have one ~Banjo bolt, i believe its called, the bolt with a hole in the top and one at the bottom pressumably for the brake fluid to go through. just wondered where is the best place to get one from, i have no clue on sizes etc im guessing brake caliper banjo bolts on come in 1 of a few sizes. does the zed stock calipers have banjo bolts? and will the fit the brembo ones? or where can i buy a pair of new ones but the right size. should i bring the current bolt to a plumming place and will they be able to get me the right one ? thanks in advance
  18. cool. you gonna get some engine dress to go with the purple theme? and anything special planned with the engine when being built?
  19. are you having the whole car that colour or you doing bits of black anywhere? wing mirrors , wheels etc , little parts
  20. not long... but will probably drag like hell
  21. thats a very nice colour. will make you car stand out a treat when finished :thumbup1:
  22. have you looked at classic car insurance? mines very cheap compared to what a standard insurer would charge.
  23. Orange hammerite wirh vht clear... im only hoping they last a year till I can afford a powdercoat job. But I hammerited my other calipers and they are fine still after 3 years.
