  1. Thats really nice.
  2. Right get your calculators out ! I've been looking how to compare the brightness of these LED's and found this to explain it. :smartass: 'The brightness of LEDs is measured in millicandela (mcd), or thousandths of a candela. Indicator LEDs are typically in the 50 mcd range; "ultra-bright" LEDs can reach 15,000 mcd, or higher (the 617 nm Luxeon Star (part number LXHL-NH94) can reach 825,000 mcd). By way of comparison, a typical 100 watt incandescent bulb puts out around 1700 lumen - if that light is radiated equally in all directions, it will have a brightness of around 135,000 mcd. Focused into a 20° beam, it will have a brightness of around 18,000,000 mcd. '
  3. did you say chuff :tooth: lol a bit more testing yet but i'll make a note of it.

  12. Been working on these for a while now and finaly got them finish. Big thanks to Joely for testing them out for me. The units use 80 (40 per side) 10mm bright white LED's with an output of 290000 mcd. Pictures taken this afternoon and bearing in mind it was a nice sunny day im very pleased with the results. I'm looking forward to getting some nice night shots soon. Let me know what you think... Off Side Fog some more from a distance

  15. Its not as hard as you might think. Everything you need to know is in the Nissan workshop manual and all the parts are available. If you can work methodically, have a clean working area and can use a vernier i'd say have ago yourself. Martin

  20. losen of the four nuts that hold the subframe to the chassis (not all the way!) the subframe should drop down to give you enough room to get the sump over the subframe and allow you to push the engine right back. line up the engine mounts and bolt the subframe back up.
