Hi there I'm based in Ripon, North Yorks and would be interested in meeting fellow ZX owners on either a regular and/or occassional basis. For occassional meets would travel 50-60 miles. :hyper: For regular meets would travel 30-35 miles (shifts permitting) :) Occassional meets - once per quarter?? Regular meets - once per month?? ( outside the Nissan factory :rofl: :rofl: ) Just my thoughts an opinions though Regards to all Phil

Had a bit of a cruize today but had to keep the targa panels on (grim northern weather to blame :( ). Stereo turned up which got me to thinking what choons do people listen to when out in their Zeds??? Currently spinning in my CD player is Scots Rockl/Folk band Runrig although the last disc was The Cockney Rejects!!!!!

Nowt to do with tyre prices - but that's a nice looking SWB mate. My dark blue, 91, NA, SWB, Manual Jap import is pretty stock at the moment but loads of mods planned. Where did you get and how much were your alloys if I may make so bold??? Also what's behind your seats - I have a strange box thing with 2 6x9 speakers in!!

Running an N/A so boost is not an issue. What is "the proper way"?? There seems to be so many ways to sort out this KPH to MPH and delimiter business. My head hurts and it's only 20:15!!! Another beer required.............

:eek: Shopping yesterday at More Reasons (boring but essential as beer, whisky and Resolve are required for the weekend!!) and shock, horror Christmas Selection Boxes and Advent Calenders were on sale :shock: So I got to thinking:- What's everyone going to ask Santa for this Christmas??? Top of my list hmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think alloys?? interior re-trim?? lambo doors?? Probably get socks and aftershave as usual!!!!!

Cheers Kev Will call sometime (soon hopefully) but on night shift this week so sleeping during the day. Any particular weaknesses or common failures for a ZX MOT?? Have no rear fog at the moment - will this be a problem?? Also reversing lights not working - would this be a failure?? Cheers Phil

Yep - have lived in Ripon for 8 years now, work at Dishforth. My car's due it's MOT soon - recommend anywhere?? Use the Zed as a daily driver so needs to be looked after. It's a 1991, SWB, NA, Manual, Jap import - standard apart from de-catted SS exhaust, Sony Flip Front Stereo and security. Will have to meet up for a chat sometime Cheers Phil

Well it's 01:40 - been at work for 2 hours. Have just powered up and flown out a multi million pound Apache Flight Simulator - what a great job. Does anyone else enjoy their job????? Also had a good blast in the Zed today with the Targa panels out.

Nice looking Zed mate - I was in the dark blue SWB going towards Ripon. Had just enjoyed a blast with the Targa panels off and was heading back into the city for an ice-cream in the Market Square.

Have got a Jap, SWB, NA, Manwell and between the rear wheel arches is a box with 2 speakers fitted in the top. Is this a standard fit item???? If it is standard fit can it be removed??? Also how easy is it to get to the reverse switch on the gearbox??

Would love to be there, but have to visit the outlaws in Cumbria - bummer.

As a relative newcomer to the Zed world and not fully au fait with this site's politics I agree with cad paul. I too would not have entered Zed world without knowing that this site was available. Cad if you're up for a pint - mine's a Theakston's.

It's a good month to be 40 in!!! Had mine on the 5th, funnily enough was in Orkney on the day. Bought the cheese and drank the beer and whiskey!! Happy birthdays to us!!
