Sea borne trials have been successfully carried out aboard HMS Ocean so Ok there. Haven't heard about any rusting. 2 squadrons at Dishforth (16 aircraft) + 1 Field Deployable Simulator - other squadrons based at Middle Wallop in Hampshire and Wattisham in Suffolk Awesome piece of hardware.

I get about the same - 98 cm . If you include where the rear wiper pivots it's about 105cm. That's on a J spec SWB with original alloys and tyre size. ( NB Full tank of fuel as well, dont know if that'll make any difference.) Would a SWB be better than an LWB if length is important (oo err missus)

My car was in Motec @ York for a Cat 1 security + Tracker but hasn't been to Ripon Auto Electrics (yet). Looking forward to meeting other owners/drivers.
