  1. A good 'HOW TO...' here...
  2. Cheers guys very much appreciated - I hope the bloody thing still works after all this ha ha lol ;-))
  3. Hang on - I have KYB's on the front and I don't have that problem!! Are you sure the strut had properly located before you tightened the nuts? If it was off the ground it is possible that they are trapped - obviously the strutt will fall away if off the ground so..... Just a thought! Andy
  4. Engine in May 2009... Engine today... God it's been a bitch ;-(
  5. FICD & IAA Unit has been serviced/made shiny too...
  6. Yes - No covers - going commando ;-) :D
  7. FMIC will probably get changed as it looks a bit knackered now ;-(
  8. PAS Pot fitted/plumbed.. Couple of Engine Shots as of today... Right Side Auto Tranny Cooler... Left Side - Engine Oil Cooler... They are firmly fastened to the chassis in three places... Finally the money shot... Let me know what you think...
  9. ... Made some great progress today test fitting the new Rad and the additional Autobox oil and engine oil rads as well. Still work in progress but... It all looks pretty good with FMIC taped in place temporarily - I need to do this as I am starting to fabricate the (stillen) bumper to supply enough air to the right places now. Just awaiting delivery from Dan of the BELTS and the injector seal kit and then it will be a case of taking two days off to finish polishing the plenum - lol!!! :nana2: If anyone is interested I can post some pics... :D;) (tease) :slap:
  10. MAC1 - what did you go for in the end?
  11. I assume fitting an FPR alone and bumping up the pressure will then cure your balance issues - job jobbed right Paul?? Or have I missed something?
  12. Sorry Paul - I was not aware of that fact (same car) ;-)) I think it sounds very likely that the standard fuel rail design is to blame - maybe the parallel fuel feed is worth a try in your case. Nothing to lose except more CASH!! And knuckle skin as you remove/replace your plenum yet again lol. GO FOR IT!
  13. Hi RADRON - did you ever fix your balance issue sir? Andy
  14. Paul, If you check this thread - RADRON had the exact same issue and took it Jeff - if you hound both of them you should get your answer ;-)) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=124396&highlight=balance+test Hope that helps you - I noticed this has been on-going since June'ish - stay calm ;-)) Andy
  15. Hi Paul, Dunno is the honest answer - I am kinda learning as I go - much like yourself maybe. Lymon may be able to tell you more - otherwise I would get it up to Tamworth and let Jeff at it. Sorry matey.
  16. Lymon - thanks for that - so one of these baby's would do the trick? Did ya see my drawing on the previous page - can you comment amend/edit to your liking - I think I'm close!! ;-)) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RACING-SPEC-FUEL-PRESSURE-REGULATOR-UNIVERSAL-FPR_W0QQitemZ330312419285QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item4ce82787d5&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  17. But your preference would be feeding fuel in at two opposite ends and then to the regulator through a central 'T' junction.
  18. Cheers Mike When do you plan on doing yours?
  19. So Do we agree with my drawing as above gentlemen - or not? ;-)
  20. WHY? Because...cylinder 6 usually goes first because it's at the end of the fuel rail so potentially receives less fuel thus leaning out resulting in pinging and worse.
  21. Green is Return Red is Supply
  22. Nope... This is the one - hop eit helps someone else.
