  2. Any - why not parallel feeds why you have the opportunity? Andy
  3. Very nice Ant - looking sweet - great choice of colour and detail. Very cool ;-))
  4. Look guys, everyone is different, thank goodness - and if someone has the vision, determination and resource to complete a [not inconsiderable] sized task of re-designing his entire zed then good for him. I for one applaud him! I may not like everything about it either but some respect is due. He's not asking you to buy it, so cut him some slack. Some of the comments are bit OTT I feel. Were intelligent people so lets just constructively criticise eh? ;-)) (I know whats going to happen next lol) Yes it's a SWB
  5. It's not a kit, it's a design exercise  Here is the front:
  6. Mmmm Maimi Okuwa & Kobayashi Ryoko are pretty hot as well ;-))
  7. The front is pants - unfortunately!
  8. I labeled them and tucked them away somewhere dark and safe ;-)
  9. Appreciate that is a plenum bypass related post - but just hoping that it helps you some...
  10. Hi Paul, Not sure if this helps - but you get a good view of the water piping from Jeff's post below: I think it is 6mm - don't use vac pipe - only use good quality water or oil pipe. Maybe someone could confirm... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1313441
  11. Well they go up to 275x85x21 so... they might! ;-))
  12. Danny, how's it going you fineshed this job yet - is all well?
  13. I think they are made of bendy plastic for a reason ;-)) As they appear to sit slightly below the bumper line on a standard (to catch extra air I assume) zed (If your lying on the floor at the front of the car looking towards the back of your car they slightly protrude - so are a new low point) so they are going to get hit at some point and if they are not bendy and fixed rigid - then any damage could transfer into your front tension rods right - not good. If your going to make them out of metal at least make them so that if they strike something they maybe twist around on the tension rod shaft, rather than strain it in any way.
  14. No idea matey - Mike Feeney is your man for that malarky - mike@mjpauto.go-plus.net :punk: :thumbup1:
  15. You can still buy the originals I assume - if anyone is interested these are the part numbers & description: Air Guide: 41183-37P01 41182-37P01
  16. This is what the standard guide looks like - these came in after 1993 I believe.
  17. I can take a piccie of the ones on my ride - but I think I might get a bit wet right now ;-)
  18. Jimmy do you have the air guides that mount to the forward facing tie-rods as well? If not well worth getting from a scrapper. I have some on my 90 import and I swear it made a difference when I left them off for a while.
  19. Otherwise this may happen ;-) YIKES!
  20. and its in carbon fibre.
  21. ...or very similar I should say...;-))
  22. The Camaro's have this available - there is a hole in the wheel arch with a flange on the other side where the ducting connects from the bumper feeds. The air directer/funnel clips on to the inside of the arch - this is quite a neat solution I feel and pretty easy to make for the zed so I may have a go at that as well. A couple of different versions: This is what I have made for my Jag
  23. Jimmy, you should monitor - there are some stick on brake thermometers that I have seen used at the track, they are about 8.00 for a strip of ten I believe. Do a couple of laps with the ducts blocked - then a couple with them active and check the difference - it will me immense.
