Have a look at my posts in this thread... https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183391-Japfest-2016-Silverstone-Sunday-24th-April-Updated-with-payment-details/page10&highlight=Japfest Can email high res versions if any good- olden days
Yay, my old car- Golden oldies threads
yes , I met him years later at a meet at Virginia waters. had been talking to him for quite a while before a light bulb moment leading me to say "Indian ZX , dogging, fiestas ?"- olden days
in my previous thread about goodwood breakfast, and following on from some thread revivals and mention of calendars......... twice now I've been involved in photoshoots for club calenders where each region of the club was going to get a page, but nothing ever came of it once we drove round Winchester taking photos at various locations (from memory some of them were private land from the speed we drove in , photo'd and drove out) not sure who had the photos Bigh or Marco ? so the other time we turned up at a goodwood breakfast club ,back when they were less popular and about 10 of us got to park up at supercar sunday, but not so we could get a good photo. so off to a disused airfield nearby for a photo op. some fun later, some upset dog walkers, a visit from the police, lots of names taken and threats of section 59s we all left, again no calendar , but I did get a couple of pictures anyway, that's how my fuzzy old brain remembers it, anyone remember this, recognise your cars?- Lights
I still think its a ground fault, with lights picking up their ground through other lights that aren't on, and due to the different watages only some light up. investigating the ground wires to the lamp holders would be a good start. the changeover relay between main and high switches the grounds ( so you will only see ground at the main light connector if they are switched on)- Lights
Hazard switch should have any effect I think its a ground problem When you test for power are you putting a meter across 2 pins of the connector? Try testing between the live pin and a known ground elsewhere (chasis, engine, battery)- Home Page - Club Show Application
My vert, because its fairly good condition and a bit rare- What do you want for us to enable you to subscribe ?
So what makes one a founding member on the facebook group then? Its obviously popular as my email notification is going off non stop, but my phone is rubbish at facebook Some way to work out who is who would be good- Sub Committee Nominations
I havnt applied as they they do seem to involve an abilaty to do pretty things with a computer ( and own a computer too)- Sports and Classic by the Lake - Bury St Edmunds - Sunday 2nd September 2018
Double booked myself :( Cant make it- What do you want for us to enable you to subscribe ?
£20 is very good value if you go to events, especially the agm, food, attendance plaques , banners etc. However if you dont or cant make meets then you are infact subsidising my fun. Thanks :) I think this might be why the 2017 agm said they would pay more, if you had asked all the members not there they might have said pay less I was initiall a fan of the new website club page interesting stufff get new members, now i,m not sure it will help. Zclub did this a while ago and i thought great idea. However every time i go to the zclub site i just click, forum/ new posts. Just like i do here. So i'm not sure wrapping interesting stuff in glitter will make it be read more, or people to write more interesting stuff- Breakfast
I went to the goodwood breakfast club (classic car theme) Boy has it grown since we first went there years ago with about 10 zeds ( anyone remember that? Was it the same time we went to a runway and the police came ?) Got there 7.30 am, had breakfast, looked at cars till 11.30am Saw 3 240z ( some could have been a 260 to be honest) including a samuri At least 3 old rollers Went to the overpriced gift shop ( guy was buying a £109 jumper and they rung it up at £139) Noticed a grey 300zx in the carpark , which to be honest was a car show in itself, so drove up and down the rows of the carpark admiring more cars Stopped in at a garden centre on the way home for cream tea ( as we had misssed out at buealea) and was home by 1pm- What do you want for us to enable you to subscribe ?
I want it to be better I dont have any answers I dont see the point in repeating stuff others have said So i havnt posted That said i did find myself unnecesarily using the stupidly long thread today- What did you do to your zed today?
Took mine to goodwood for breakfast- Removing HIDs for MOT
Does the 99 spec brochure show that they come with hid? If so a copy of that would probably be enough to "prove" that imports came with hids- Simply Japanese 2018
I really enjoyed it as a day out Decided it was slicktop weather rather than convertable weather Rain on the way there was constant heavy, but i never needed fast wipers, and used intermitent most of the way, had to avoid 3 or 4 large puddles that were quarter to half across road ( i have low lying mushrooms too) Best bit was only 10 minute queue to get into sight ( usually over an hour) No queues for any attractions, the momorail thst normally queues down the stairs we walked straight on a train, no queue to see the topgear film which i never bothered before due to queue The birds of prey talk was in a little building to about 10 of us and i got much closer to a falcon than i ever have been as it looked me in the eyes from about 2 ft away The museum and house i got to spend more time looking at stuff close up due to no crowds Even managed to eat our picnic ( in the car admitedly not on picnic blanket) I thought the plot we had was better than last year as quite a few people came through the gap next to the ruined building and came over to look at the cars or talk. But it would be nice to be back in the origonal plot next year Left about 4.30 and the rain going home was only light And yes the rain even made my paintwork look good and i got a few compliments Only downside for me was not getting to chat to everyone for longer - Meet pics
