  1. Just downloaded it. Seems good and has cured the problem. Cheers
  2. Recently when I try to open a link that pops up a new window, it won't open. A new IE window opens, but it dosen't open the pag, just stays blank. When I close it I get a message saying this may be due to a pop up blocker. Any ideas
  3. Wasn't Steve E's up there somewhere too. Seem to remember it being in CCC which wasn't a mag that believed crap bhp figures.
  4. Think they're the same. The timing maps they use are very aggressive. I'd keep the boost to about 13psi on it, but listen for det. The mid range is where they really bump the timing up so keep a close ear out.
  5. That looks more like an air con condenser. Can't imagine an oil cooler having a multi-pass layout like that one has judging by the U tubes on the end - the pressure drop would be too big.
  6. Some Zeds have both seats electric. My old one did. They're still lying around at my parents if you want them.
  7. Weak PCV springs can cause this. So can incorrect throttle initial position or clogged TB's. Or just a small air leak.
  8. You shouldn't say thing's like that about Ian. Its only since he stopped smoking
  9. Might be around, not sure yet! Off work so might be going away.
  10. For the water lines, buy some 5mm silicone or 1/4" rubber. When you put it back on, it's much easier to bypass the throttle body feed/returns and remove them. Just loop the feed that goes to the hard pipes under the plenum straight onto the turbo water lines.
  11. Must admit, I love mine. Don't think I'd go back to a viscous one, the chatter isn't so bad in an RWD anyway. Only thing is I think the life of the plates is limited, not sure how long they last though. Just gotta be careful to stay committed once you're cornering or it tends to lock a wheel. Aren't the tyres a bit narrower on the NA than yours too. Why I went back to 255's on the back, much less snatchy than with 275's
  12. Christ Andy, don't mention that, it makes veins pop out in Ian's neck and all sorts :D You're not an EXPERT anyway
  13. If the Doolz does really split the air 50:50 then the parameters in the chip you had should work fine. If yuo get it moving and it's still rough then bring it down and we can tweak the parameters a bit. If you get a Doolz chip then I can adjust it for 555's no problem.
  14. Not too sure what it will be on a dual set up as the VQ curve is exponential until it flattens out. Can't remember what pin you measure it off now, but the maual should make it pretty clear. I'd expect ~0.4v or something like that. Idle is a bit high, should be 750, so maybe worth setting it properly. Having said that id still shouldn't hunt. I'll get the BIN to you before the weekend, no probs.
  15. Chris, have you measured the MAF voltage at idle? Could be that it's rich because of the shape of the VQ table. At anything below a certain voltage, the VQ it gets is the same. That means you get the same amount of fuel below that voltage regardless. Can mod the table for you if necessary, but might be best to see if it really is the problem first! For now I can do you a chip for single intake as requested, then see if that cures the problem first. Have you chacekd all the stuff like throttle body synchronisation, air leaks, AIV operation, base idle setting etc?
  16. That's not shiney enough for Vinz :D

It's out of that wierd Italian supercar made by some record producer in the 80's. The car its self is really, really ugly! BRM used to make a V16 GP engine as well I think.
  18. You have mail / PM!
  19. That's the one I've got on mine, works a treat. Worth checking the arms are OK too, if they need done then buy the SE one as it comes with new arms as well.
  20. Might make it down for the Sunday.
  21. Why, are SE doing yours free now :D
  22. Can sort all that out for you mate, except for supply of stuff. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
  23. If you fit a speedo converter it will be set to 112 * 8/5 whatever that works out to. These have disadvantages in as much as the steering gets over light. If you want to remove it completely, you need to change the chip. As Greg says, UK clocks + chip is the way to go. Drop me a line if you want a chip.
  24. Mike, What turbos are you running? For stock, try Gain = ~25 Set = ~35 and work up (35 should be around stock) ~45 usually gives 15psi Start boost ~3psi less than peak. Leave this at 0 until you've got stable boost Limiter at 16psi with 20% cut. If the tubs are bigger, gain will likely need to be higher, setpoint lower.
  25. Lol, I'll give it a go. I'm no expert mind ;)
