  2. well done Tony- Thanks :) looks like a nice pub. Do you reckon we'll fill up the car park? I guess it depends on how many poopras turn up
  3. Do you live on Southdown Rd? Thats 4 zeds in Caversham- theres another chap up on Cav Park near me with a black one. Hes been having a bit of bother with it though. Are you and jonny coming to the Oxon meet at the Plough on Sunday? Could be a nice convoy! Should be a good afternoon. A few turning out. If not I think we got enough zeds in Caversham for a mini meet at the top shops. Also get down to the Reading meet at Comet car park (A33) next Tues 15th 6pm onwards- should be a few zeds there plus loads of other jap motas. Enjoy the car and you couldnt have found a nicer club to join. See ya round AL :)

Yea, I think they are all the same- running hot and cold. Still I cant complain on finance side- she made tons of cash over Xmas on her website and wiped out my 10 grands worth of debt and bought me the zed. Top bird eh! Only problem now is the zed needs tons of work and business is totally dead at the moment. So may have to wait till next xmas. :(
  5. well at least you'll be regular!!
  6. oh and I forgot moan about the million or so pounds of taxpayers money this is costing, when it could be better spent teaching my kids or helping the NHS. Then of course at the end of it they'll be coining in loads of extra cash NOT to spend on teaching and NHS. :xxx:
  7. if the goverment brought this I'm sure they would be booted out. :xxx: Just another instance of the bigbrother effect. Its everywhere- tesco clubcards monitoring what you buy, spyware monitoring where you surf, cameras on every corner, are they tapping my phone? God I'm going paranoid
  8. take time out and read this: http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=34051

  11. shame you did not get a shot of it for us to  at! bet they were all scoffing maccy D's as well!
  12.  init great that the zed looks awsome with zero bling, add a little bling and you are  add loads and you become tattoo man  very cool  we need some saxo-heat seeking rockets for the zed- group buy??
  13.  Brilliant! Dont think victoria will be best pleased
  14. It is a dillema as we need people to fill the jobs. As we get richer and demand more services and entertainment, there are lots of jobs to fill that we do not want to do. Isnt that how its been all along since the 50's 60's 70's etc... I am not racist in the slightest, but the bit I do agree with is the out of control influx of illegal immigrants into Britain. Read today that the number could be more than 10 times higher than official figures. There should be much tighter control, get a fast track to boot out all the illegals, then selectivley invite immigrants into the country as and we need them.
  15. he said earlier its a pci card modem. me had same problem two nights ago- xp wouldnt see the modem. Luckily me had a lucent win modem card kicking around which xp has drivers for. If you got a network card in it and a pal with broadband, connect it up to the net and update the driver using the search web option. Failing that its 20 squid for a new'n from good old pc world. good luck mate!
  16. Just want to check the directions- been on streetmap and see one pub- a left turn off the 417 wantage direction as you go through east hendred- is that the one? Cheers AL :)
  17. whe-hey! room enough for some dohnuts
  18. Oy, I'll have non of that- my 3rd leg is kept strictly reserved for the zed ladies
  19. wow what with the bass making it x50% and the look of the zed making it also x50% - thats 12" x100%- blimin hell I got a big donger!!
  20. Chris Sounds like you know your stuff. Do you do any freelance stuff? My misses runs a lingerie web site ;) and is looking to get parts of it updated. She'd like to integrate a stock control system and display prices in euro and US$ that could be changed depending on the ex rate. Theres already a backend in place for updating items and prices etc and the whole site was hand written. Let me know if thats something you would be interested in. The site is http://www.delicates.co.uk (Danny, sorry to hi-jack your thread) :)
  21. I Love, Love, Love, Hate, Love, Love, Love Hate my zx Thats the sound of me putting in optimax every 4 days :) :)
  22. Danny Unfortunately I'm no expert either, but do run two websites and use Dreamweaver and it really is the beez knees. You can have split screen- source code and the page view. Try a search on amazon.co.uk you might be able to pick it up for around £50 licensed. You could also download a copy of the web (for evaluation purposes) ;) Not sure if a website has a line of code which checks what browser. Just had a look at the source code on my site and dont see it. Best answer is to keep the site as simple as possible and easy to navigate- avoid too much fancy fancy java stuf and flash movies. Also design it to be search engine friendly. Google can send you a lot of business if you get it right! Not quite sure how to do the re-size window thing, but do a search as theres loads of info out there. This site http://www.stickysauce.com has a few tips and help. Ideally you want to save the picture to the size you want to display and then when you list the picture in the code, you define the width and height in pixels: somthing like this Another way is have a look at a few sites and if you see something you like or does the job, from Internet Explorer, click Edit from the top menu and then View Source. You will then be able to see all the code used to create that page and you can borrow bits of the code for your site (but watch for copyright, you may want to change it slightly). Might be worth a quick trip to pc world to see if they got any handy reference books :)
  23. I can vouch for that- yesterday 28 degrees, not a lot of power, just loads of noise, this morning nice and cool, she was back to her zippy self.
