  1. forgot to add: You need to be in desktop support- crap money, but good totty!
  2. he he, I'm just on a short term assignment for 3 weeks supporting these gals while their office has a re-fit. I'll soon be back to my 15' x 15' shoe box of an office with 9 blokes and one 42 year old bleach blondie, so I'm gonna make the most of it oggling them!!!. Still theres always the lunch hour and with a little help from the zed to entice them down to the pub. ;)
  3. I'm stuck in office with 35 tarts, one keeps bending over showing her thong- keeps breaking my concentration from 300zx.co.uk ;) :hyper:
  4. Sunday- 19 degrees 84% cloud - no rain- wind 9mph- I'll be brave and ave me topoff. Cheers The Weatherman :hyper:

lucky bloke!! my mate has just come back from Cuba- bought me back loadsa fat cigars. God knows how I'm gonna smoke em all. Will have to bring em to billing. Have a good hol! :p
  6. There as bad as each other, I despise ntl, but touch wood so far my broadband has held up well
  7. jees, I hate it when that happens. I was designing a advert for the missises website last night to go in FHM, spent about 3/4 of an hour on it before realising I hadnt saved it yet, went to save it and the bstad crashed! I thumped the keyboard and proceed to the fridge to get a :duffer: 4 pack.
  8. Thanks Gary! Looks like you gotta job for life there :)
  9. Thanks for all the advice guys- just goes to show, you cant just slap that sort of thing together. 3 hours of sweat and 30 quid lighter :( hopefully trying some of the things you suggested will give me a better sound, otherwise I'll turn it into a 2 seater and put the old one in. Sorry kids- :slap: you cant go in daddys zed anymore
  10. Yea, me scrimped there. But strangely the old one was chipboard and that sounded great, and me wacked loadsa sealant on the new one in the joins. I think I'll have a go next weekend switching the speaker inwards to see if any better, otherwise I'll scrap it and see if I can reduce the height of the old box to make it fit.
  11. Just built my new bass bin today using chipboard and bits from my old bass bin. All nice and covered- looks the part, just a little smaller to fit the zed boot. Problem is, it dont sound that great. The old bass bin was the type where the speakers were sealed inside with a little perspex window and 4 ports for the bass to travel out. Building the new one, I have the speakers laid on the surface pointing straight out and still with the ports. But dont seem to get the rich low bass I used to have. Do you think I'd be better flipping the speakers so they point into the box? I'm sure I have seen this setup somewhere before.
  12. Nice one Sideshow, me started in an ALL-AGRO too- I inherited it when I was 14- it sat in the the garage every day saying drive me so I sneeked out in it when I was 15 while bunking off school. Scary sh$t eh! The things you do when your young and have no common sense eh! Me also had a Datsun 120A FII- kinda looked like a mini zed come to think of it now. I bet I win the competition on how many cars scrapped- as most were all bangers!
  13. fookuth me!!   You definitely winneth! Some nice cars too just doing my maths.. um...er...well thats an average of a new motor every 3.4 months! Good going Chunk ALz. as he goes off to bed with tail between his legs  Anyone top that then!??
  14. This is what happens when ya get stuck in on Sat Night! Who can beat this then??- 26 cars in 16 years = 1 car for every 7 months since I been driving!! I am sure now I have the Zed, this will stop! Crappyest car me owned= Morris Ital (bought it in the dark- the smartass had painted it with matt emulsion so first spot of rain, had white puddles round it! ) Nicest car (apart from zed) = Jag XJ6 4.0- very smooth- still a bird puller, but a bit arfur daley! Fastest car (apart from zed) = Cav SRI 2.0- t'was a beastie So come on, let the skeletons out of the closet for your pre-zed years :)

Brings back memories of my Bedford CF camper days (left hooker, had black windows and wide chrome slot wheels) you'd definitely need to invest in a big hat and long purple coat for that mutha!
  16. Nice looking Silver Zed parked up on Southdown Hill, Caversham, Reading just a few houses down from jonnyd64's black zed. Just visiting??? :)
  17. 850csi was nearly the one for me, but ya gotta have 10K ready for a goodun. Sat inside one- was like heaven- the salesman and my wife couldnt get me out. I settled for the QX in the end- good car also, but very annonymous. But now the Z, theres no other car for me now (apart from a mini for work use when the petrol prices go through the roof)
  18. :duffer: I'm watching my cholestoral- 3 glasses of red so far- me and misses on to 2nd bottle. Do you think we have a drink problem?? Nah- its Friday night! :duffer: Oh sh$te, I just remember what red wine does to her- call in the search party if you dont here from me
  19. OK, may as well start to gather advice for this forthcoming project- so when I get these nice new gleaming coil pack connectors, I understand i will want to get rid of as much of the nasty wire as possible. Whats the reccomended way to make the join from old wire to new. I guess things get pretty hot round there so will need somthing that wont melt. What about normal crimp connectors- would they be up to the job??
  20. top one, nice one, sorted- you're a diamond Wez, you've bought me a bit of credit till payday (or should I say till bank gets less than a 1000 OD day) How'd ya wanna do the deal- Paypal? :)
  21. mmm, that site worked well- page full o garbage. Wouldnt mind summit a little smaller for mine as well as my front plate looks so flappy, I'm sure its causing drag! Wouldnt mind jazzing up the rear plate too, but not sure how easy it is to get the square plates in different styles.
  22. So is there an official Z anthem then? I know we all got diverse taste in music so could be hard to decide. Perhaps we could record one at Billing after a few :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  23. I dont normal have a problem getting it up and it staying up, but this morning I guess it only went half mast resulting in bumpy head
  24. Well if another hose starts pissing steam, I may well do that, or maybe a dam good thrashing with some twigs like Basil Faulty- "dont mention the war!"
  25. yea, but round Eton they scratch all the Rollers, Jags etc. But 2 miles away, leaving the car in the Slough maccy D car park- a different story. Even the Mums with pushchairs look like evil fookers!
