Consequences of your whingeing
I bought a crap one, but it still takes me to work and back each week doing about 200 miles- very reliable. Thanks to this site, I have identified everything that needs doing and in what priority. I work in a place with over 200 cars (mercs, beemas, jags, lotus etc) in the office car park and my zed is the most talked about mota. Some slag it off, but that is just the green eyed monster talking as none of them have the bottle to go out and own one. Me's wondering why you bought it if you read all about them first? Me bought mine for the challenge and I knew what I was taking on. Also I dont want loads of people going out buying zeds. I like the exclusivity of the zed, being able to drive for a month up and down the M4 and never seeing another zed. Nuff said ;)

Should I start smoking again?
Done London to Brighton bike ride last week or so. About 12 of us. Me the only smoker. Came last over the line over an hour behind the slowest of the bunch. Crap eh! Must give em up :(

Thanks Baggins- The deed is done
Yep- me already read this. Dont care too much as the cost of all the repairs that my car currently needs is more than I paid for it, so will take my chances and enjoy it for what it is and if I come into dosh, will get it all done, and if I blow it up, I'll break it and sell all the goodies to you guys.

Thanks Baggins- The deed is done
Thanks Baggins for the resistor. Nice to feel some power under the pedal for a change. Good fun on these wet country roads :hyper: I guess now I just wait for the holes in my pistons to appear  but lets hope she doesnt suffer from to much det as she dont have no protection now. Onwards and upwards- hope rain holds off and can do the remaining 2 plugs, oil and filters tomorrow.

I thought Hermie won that competition!

woman owner p****d off
Tulip, I cant understand that- I was at the 2nd from last Reading meet a while back and a young lady turned up in a pink Supra and opened the boot to show off the ICE and it was like a flock of vultures at a Sunday boot sale crowding around. Maybe it was a combination of the pink car, big ICE and tight fitting top she had on. So get the cerese paint out, boob tube on and turn up the bass!

Who's got the worse zx
ok- might not win the prize, but I'm a sure runner up: Dodgy det sensor=saftey boost- gonna bodge it shortly with resistor trick O2 sensors shot Runs lumpy Low oil pressure Slow Wiring shot- all coil pack connectors need re-doing Majorly overdue a service Prop shaft bush colapsed Steering wheel got a about an inch play left to right Missing covers in wheel arch Cracked cowlings at bottom of windscreen Knackered autobox Brakes shot Speed limiter needs removing- clocks still in kph- beeps at me over 70mph Front bumper riddled with stonechips Gouge in painwork on wing Bonnet paintwork hazy Scuffs on rear bumper Leaky targas Wing mirror flaps about at over 60mph Shockers need replacing Front fog lamps held in with blue-tac Exhaust bangs against chassis over bumps Doesnt drive straight Sills colapsed under each jacking point (wasnt me!) Driver electric window crunches when lowering- think its gonna break soon. Oh and the ciggy lighter dont work  I'm all depressed now- think I'll go and buy a lottery ticket and if that dont work, it'll have to be a 0% credit card  p.s I would sell it if I thought I could, but probably only get half the money I paid for it. Would of course then buy another zed with everything done on it ;)

Quickest time- London to Brighton
Well me done it! 6.5 hours. Not the best time in the world, but not bad for an unfit alcy smoker like me. Got totally soaked at one point. Lots of good accidents- at one point heard a scream behind me, looked round and saw some poor girl go skidding down the hill head first. Too many hills and the last evil mutha- Ditchling Beacon, fook me, ya need a cable car to get up that sonobitch. Today my legs are like lead and having trouble getting up the stairs in the office- having trouble also sitting down! Still, all worth it as got 200 squid for chhaaridy. Thanks to you guys who supported me and if anyone else is feeling generous, the online sponsor link is at the beginning of this thread. Cheers :duffer:

My Fav Advert At The Mo!!
I cant remember what this ad is advertising but it kinda goes like this: Dinner party- people discussing wife swapping- geezer walks in and says what a great idea. They all look round with scorned look and say that how disgusting it was. Absolutely great  but the ad cant work as I dont remember what they're selling! I'm always putting my foot in it like that- but not into wife swapping......much

Holiday Pics - Zed in France
Lovely pics  Reminds me of when I when down south in my old red Mk1 2.0 Cav. It didnt get on to well with the hills  had to stop and let let her cool down every two miles. I done Marseille, St Tropez, Cannes and then back over the Napolean pass. Think I'll have to do it in my zed, once I've done everything that needs doing to her. Anyway well done zed- 2000 miles- good old nissan reliability!
