  1. I'll add a final word on a positive note. I watched most of the days racing at japfest and I can honestly say that the best driving was from the early morning Zed brigade. We had 2x 300's out there who were giving it some, but still well in control. The 350Z was also not taking any risks and quite rightly so. The 240/260 boys were driving a bit harder, but not one twitch from their real wheel drive motors. All credit to the different generations of zeds out there on the day- and not a scooby or skyline in sight- so ave-a-go track days are really worth it if you're a zed driver, driving with zeds only!
  2. You've also got the bosch place on the corner of North St (opp Ambulance station) I think its RA Engineering. Havnt used them for zeds though. Although 3D's will cost you- you know you'll get a good job done as never heard anything bad about them (used to work opporsite in M&J Hire Centres for 3 years)
  3. oh sh$t, I slipped on the carpet and accidently posted

  11. blimin stich up motor show rip of £$%^&*(- paid £10 and not laminated. Nice to have though. Doesnt quite look as exciting when you see it brand new. Zeds only get there character when suped up or just rough round the edges.

  13. It certainly is and I hope my black one looks like yours one day
  14. Picked up this copy of an original Zed ad- enjoy Ad reads: All those who thought Nissan could never make a car like the 300ZX, order your humble pie now. Its 3.0 litre DOHC 24-valve V6 278bhp engine takes it from 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. Twin turbos with variable valve timing give instant and smooth response. Super HICAS 4 wheel steering and viscous LSD give incredible control and traction. Even the ignition key is high technolgy. (Its made from titanium alloy). With some sports cars you are forced to sacrifice confort for performence. Not with the 300ZX. You'll find electrically adjustable seats, CD player, Leather upholstry, automatic air-conditioning and cruise control fitted as standard. All in all, the 300ZX will give anything on four wheels a run for its money. You can close your jaw now. For more information about the £33,230 300ZX, telephone 0345 800 600. YOU CAN WITH A NISSAN. Cool eh!- just gotta get a nice frame for it now

  17. hope you can make it- if we can get cc300zx's car fixed and jonnyd64, that could be a 4xBlack Zed convoy heading north- will poo the life out of all them sunday drivers... ... but looks like odds stacked against Nismo- U going? or a bit far from B'stoke... could be 5 black zeds :hyper:

  20. I asked this the other day and I think you can get Nissan Pulsar ones from Courtesy in the states which are apparently the same- comes in a box of 4 so you'll need to go in with someone. I still wanna replace mine as they keep popping off, but soooooo skint at the moment so will have to live with it for the mo  Get three boxes and I'll dosh ya in a few weeks ;)
  21. If you have MS Office installed- try looking for Photo Editor from your start menu
  22. Try getting a quote from 3D Transmissions- Gt Knollys Street. Also jonnyd reckons that garage up by the Grovsner, Kidmore Rd, Cavy Heights looks at Zeds, or theres always Brad in Wantage- he seems to be ok on zeds, but not sure about boxes- his No. is 01235 867455. He sorted me out when I had a wrong diagnosis from someone else and was good value. Sorry to hear things going shite with the zed. If theres anything else I can do, gimme a shout. I need to see that zed back round the village + we need you up and running for the Oxon meet. AL :)
  23. Yep, it'll just be our kids in thread bare cloths and living of bread water and drinking meths, and we'll still be driving our zeds
