Had a brilliant day! Burnt red raw, but worth it. Two lads I took also had a great day too- best of all my mate who I put on the insurance for the day and I was then chauffeured back in style- burning the odd Supra on the way ;) My mate also took over an hour of video footage including some great shots of the M4 convoy weaving in and out of lanes 2&3 + loads of footage of the Z stand and all the Z racing plus much more- mad scooby driver doing some nice drifting. Didnt get the plonka in the MX5 that span though :( He's already copied it to DVD for me and I was wondering if anyone would like a copy? For a small handling fee of a £5er inc postage + I'll throw in a CD with all the MP4 video footage I took + pics. If I make anything out of it, I promise to buy a tax disc holder and a bottle of polish :rofl: Will get a couple of pics & MP4 vids up soon.... Billing ere I come! :duffer: :dance: :duffer: :dance:

Dont remember seeing a burgandy one so it might have been the black zed that I saw and no one owned up to. Perhaps he hasnt found this site yet- poor soul.

Thanks guys for all that advice. John, a wee be short on the readies at the moment so will probably order them end of this month/1st half of june. If you want to go for it now, then you could order in the 6 and I'll drop you a chq or paypal in a week or so. What is entailed in replacing all the connectors that fit on top of the coil packs? Mine are all cracked and loose. Had trouble with them a few weeks ago and then again today racing a bimmer down the 329M started loosing power and warning lights came on- when I pulled up one of them had completely jumped off. Was thinking blue-tac and an elastic band, but it gets a bit hot round there :rofl: If I got hold of replacement connectors, how much of the wiring would I have to replace or can you just cut them close to the coil packs and join on to existing wires?

Yes, I was torn between a Soarer and a ZX. Glad I got the Z though as seems to have a good following and I have a life now. I'll get a Soarer if and when I get bored of the Zed or make loads a money and have both! ;)

yep- thats where me wanna be soon- I got me B&B, and my wifes business got loads of potential- guess I am just scared to take the final plunge- just get rid of last bit of debt- but thats difficult when owning a zed

Me a lazy I.T. git too. Sometimes work a late shift and was chilling one evening with Radio 1 on the net, surfing 300zx and feet well up on the desk-nearly horizantal pigging my face when the blimin IT director came bursting through the door. I'd been caught so didnt even bother jumping up. Just acted :cool: . You could see in his face he was thinking :nono: :slap: But I still got me job and had me contract renewed :dance:
