  1. Tbh, your never going to realise the potential of any of these two unless your car is mapped for it. Personally i use optimax(refuse to use the V-poo-er name, it sounds no naff!) in my Blade, which its set up for, because it more readily available in my area
  2. And these best not be African Peace Biscuits!!!!
  3. I dont need to, shes got goats for that
  4. whos hidden the bourbons????
  5. Now i properly understand what your saying. I totally agree, i would say 90% of the forms people have to fill in are purely there to give someone a job, or for them to say "look what ingenious form ive created, give me a pay rise". Why is everything nowadays rely on 20 different ways to account for your life/actions, when one simple system would work
  6. You have to contact the council, and they send someone round to actually look at your place and see what band you should fall into. The way the council decide what band peoples houses should be, is basically to drive down the road, look at, say a row of 5 houses and make them band C, then they look at the next row, and say theyre band D. Theyre doesnt actually seem to be any methodical way that they grade houses, if it looks similar to one down the road which is a band D, then thats what they will say yours is, even if yours is much smaller. that pretty much how one of my ex's described it as, and she used to work for my local council
  7. it will take many many years to get this country back to a state where i would consider returning. To be honest, i just cant see it happening. Policitions havent got the minerals to make a stand. Theyre too busy looking outwards instead of sorting the problems from within.
  8. Aaaaah, gotcha. Very true, but Civil service/Armed Forces jobs are essential. The country just wouldnt run without them. Things have got bad enough for me to make a drastic move, one me and Jodie get married in 2010, we're emigrating to Canada perminantly! Cant wait to get out of this hole!
  9. What sort of jobs are they, because i sure as fook contibute to the governemts piggy bank, to the tune of £1000 a fooking month!
  10. Oh, mines Tea white 2 sugars please fella
  11. FFS, Si moans enought as it is..... this is provoking him!!! :D
  12. Im a memmber on that site, and am really just a novice when it comes to it. I wouldnt say it gives me a semi at all, I just find it very relaxing detailing my car/bike, gives me some peace and quiet from the missus, and lets me clear my head of all the crap i have to deal with at work. And Si is right, unless you have seen a properly detailed car, you havent seen what a car CAN look like. Makes the whole car much more vibrant
  13. no way! You deserve to get shocked if your that ****ing stupid!!!
  14. I pretty sure standard tubs on a zed are T22's. Cant help you about the scooby tubs dont know if they would fit zed manifolds or the exit of the exhaust turbine would be in the correct place for downpipes to fit, why would you want to. With the cos of fabircation of the manifolds and down pipes to make them fit, you could Hybrid the standard ones with 360 roller bearings. Much better option if you ask me!
  15. So am i right in thinking that, in order to make the perfect blueprinted engine, you are relying on the parts you change, so for example, the big end bearing shells, to be perfectly made. SO theoretically you could say by one set of shells that have been made just after retooling, and other at the end of the tools life and its just pot luck which ones you up with off your supplier???
  16. thats what i ment to say, but couldnt get the right words out....
  17. To be honest, i would love to get into drifting. I used to make an effort to get down to some of the practice sessions and watch. But to be honest, my main goal is to get another TT. Unfortunatly finances dictate that motorsport is just beyond my reach for the foreseeable future. But its deffo something i would love to do. Wouldnt to bottom end of ANY zed find it hard work (in regard to the lubrication system) as the big ends dont seem to be the most robust out there?
  18. To test that the thermostat is working, start it up from cold, then put your hand on the bottom rad hose (the really long one). it should stay cold until the engine gets up to temp and then get warm very quickly. If it warms up slowly then the thermostat is stuck open. Im pretty sure this is the best way to test, but no doubt duffer will correct me if im wrong.
  19. Stu, to be honest fella, not youve got the car up and running again, personally i would change as many of the cooling system pipes ASAP. the vast majority i had with my zed was all caused by the cooling system (burst rad, burst both matrix hoses and the matrix itself, top rap hose). I know its more money to spend fella, but i think silicon/hard pipe replace ments is the way to go. These water pipes are getting so old now, most will fail at some point in the future, prob sooner rather than later. Just my opinion of course, but i would hate to see another zed off the road caused by overheating, especially as i learned the hard way! HTH nick
  20. mmmm. photoshop me thinks! very good tho
