its not a pure blue smoke, but it has got a deffinate blue tint and smells of oil, but it doesnt reak of it. The cars done 72k and as far as im aware, its still on its original pcv's, although a gave them a good clean out when i put the polished plenum on. Not sure about the oil, it had a change about 1k before i bought it and its only done about 5-6k since. As soon as i get round to it, ill be getting some silkoline pro S from oilman (cant remember what he recommends, i think its 10w40 semi synth)

Came back, took a look and i saw what you lot have just seen. So i pulled over and took another vid just revving the engine, to show you what i saw.............. Would you educated types agree with me and say turbo seals, or am i jumping the gun and should i change the PCVs and see what it leads too?? It only smokes when on boost, no smoke from start (cold or hot) and no smoke on idle. Its deffo blue smoke though. Nick

Im suprised RCD went bust, they were probably the biggest evo tuner in the north of the country..... Maybe their race program proved too expensive???

Id be interested to know this, i have a balance bar just before the cat back part of the exhaust starts, looks like it possible contains silencers as well. Would be curious to know what positive and negative effects this would have

i got the same problem mate, i havent managed to suss it yet, but i think it has something to do with the power steering pump

JDMs are just listed as Nissan coupe on the police vehicle database, only UKs are listed as 300zx's

Can you hear the fuel pump priming when you set the key to position 2 (where all the lights come on the dash prior to starting) Sounds like the CAS to me though mate
