  1. might as well get a one piece prop from zed world engine oil i use Millers competition fully syn is very good get MT 90 oil form opie oils gbox mount get from MJP in traders section on here no filter on the gearbox just magnetic sump plug
  2. i have thanked him anyway for trying to boost the prices on zeds :)
  3. get a loan though as its not going for small change http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-300zx-manual-series-4-/170605300764?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27b8de4c1c
  4. i had a second hand one on for 2 years and no problems :) i know which i would rather get as its something that could just fail even if it is brand new. You would get your warranty but after that who knows how long it could last
  5. starter motor then ive had this problem before. Second hand around £35 new probably talking over £200. For the time it takes to change id always get second hand due to the cost difference and it could last you for years to come for £35 :)
  6. they were fitted for a limited time between 1990-1992 i believe brakes on mine are outstanding and alot better than the TT i had on cast iron ones. Im going to be putting my aluminium TT ones on the NA next week. From what i have found the 200sx boys also sought after the aluminium ones off the zed for their upgrades as i was asked a few times when i had my breaker
  7. Just been reading about the Bee+R rev limiter that will give you a better launch :)
  8. Ive had both i prefer the aluminium ones :)
  9. Ok a little update on this. Ive cleaned the ptu connections and used a good ptu from zedworld. Ive put 5 litres of new fuel in the tank however gauge was already showing half full but possibly old fuel. Checked timing it is spot on getting a spark and fuel pump is working fine. She is trying to fire now im getting at least 2 pistons firing but not starting as of yet Could do with draining the fuel tank really but there is 30 litres in there so dont really want to do that. Tomorrow gonna check each cylinder and make sure there is a good spark on each but other than that i think she is slowly coming back to life Havent managed to do a compression test yet as the long adapter i got seems to be sticking so im sending it back and got a draper one on the way. would be good to get some fuel into the engine that doesnt come from the tank.
  10. Ah its not that lunatic on ebay with flip paint is it?
  11. is this on a TT or NA as i would say upgrade to TT aluminium calipers :)
  12. alot of people only drive them on rare occasions in the summer thats why you dont see them on the roads. Id reckon that there is less than 100 Slickies in UK though and same goes for verts :)
  13. its pretty simple fit the bonnet then use a big fat marker pen and poke it through the hole then drill :) i take it the bonnet has a hole already for the latches?
  14. I had bonnet latches before Dan and its just a case of mounting them into the metal bracket behind the headlight next to the bonnet rubber bump stops :)
  15. Ok folks quick one ive been looking through previous threads on thsi and wanted to see what would be easiest. What i want to end up with is indiglow dials up to 190mph with no boost gauge window. i have 3 sets of clocks i can use, UK spec TT, Jap spec TT and jap spec NA. I also have a converter but just wondering which would be the best way can i convert the UK spec into no boost gauge and then wouldnt need to use the converter or is it better to convert the NA clocks and use a kmh/mph converter? Cheers Marty
  16. i think hes had enough of me ha although im sure its not legally correct for him to be stating potential false information about zedworld thats what saddens me :(
  17. I had to ask where is Z World and this is the response i got "Try Zed World pal" So what is going on here have zedworld been hiring more staff? Oops more and i quote feel free to delete if you wish mods "Oh right, has he left? He did a lot of work on the car. You are obviously into your Z's then? I think Zed World are a load of b***s***ting tos**rs to be frank. Had all sorts of problems with the work they did. Now sorted. And they comically informed me that the car was capable of 211mph with the right mods...!!!! It wouldn't do that if you pushed it off a Cliff!!!!" I didnt think i saw him at the Xmas party the other week
  18. 20k spent and its now up for auction with no reserve grab a bargain :) he must have some mates bidding the price up http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300-zx-Twin-Turbo-Targa-40k-miles-evo-impreza-/230586439823?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35b005d88f
  19. ah it was subaru`s cock up i dont see why car manufacturers create a performance car and then make an estate version of it. Just lowers its class in my eyes its as if they are trying the tackle a bit of all the market rather than excel in one area. Thats what i like about the zeds wasnt no family and dog version as i dont think a 2+2 is practical for a family and you have the choice of 3 litre TT or 3 litre NA keeps it in the sports car category that what i love about them :)
  20. i only ever use Millers CSS fully synthetic in my engine i know others rate it highly as well
  21. This one aint the worst ive seen but again when will they understand automatic TT family version are not rare its just alot of people garage zeds for the winter :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300-ZX-TWIN-TURBO-JAW-DROPPING-SHOWCAR-READ-/310296318949?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item483f1a13e5
  22. i think thats a spelling mistake
  23. Roads are drying out did a 7.02 yesterday launching from 3k rpm ive never been a fan of Subaru they were ruined when everyone was getting them in the late 90s i think oh and then they made an estate version
  24. they bolts just by the side of the headlights iirc and the other is by the back of the headlight i would have to look at the pipes on my breaker ill check tomorrow and take some pics
  25. ill get it down to 6 just need more practice was on cold tyres and moist road :) wait to the road heats up a bit Remember its only a NA at the moment that is
