id say 350 at the moment. At the moment your limited by injectors, intercoolers and then potentially turbos as with more boost after upgrading the other two they will be pushed to limit. With that the you will need a remap which will see you getting over 400 depending on what quality you go with on the other items.

Freedom of speech seems to be allowed now here and Zedworld has a reputation to uphold therefore i can see something being resolved. Being a mechanic myself i dont trust garages however the only place i would take my zed is zedworld the guys know their stuff and are an excellent part of the community especially at Jap shows where they will give free help and advice including conzult tests. From what i have seen i wouldnt be happy with the pictures and story provided but im sure there is something that can be worked out.

They will need to get to the rear shock top nuts so rear panels need to come out. Did you consider using Japspeed suspension arms or was you set on DW?

Everyone that owns a zed should become a mechanic cos there is just too much that can go wrong and cause catastrophic consequences.

Geez much easier just to put the thing in gear to lock the engine. On screwdriver in the flywheel depending if you have box off. My 1/2 inch torque wrench does the crank nut easily. You will need a 2/3 legged puller to get the crank pulley off though. As for alternator one well i guess its easier while the belts are still on or i forget if there is a flat edge on the rear of the pulley to get a spanner on.

lol well i see so many claims of big power and things are good for this much and so on and so on However i know by simply looking at specs on other zeds that are running 600+ exactly how much work you do need. Simply building a engine and chucking it in isnt going to do it. You ask whether to use 750 or 850 injectors well things like air flow starts to come into the equation and then mapping and so on. Not just put 850 enterprise`s in and get an extra 50 brake. A bit of relaistic management and full car planning rather than just the engine is in order.

With the amount of time and money that Bob has put into his zed to achieve his dyno i think you are crazily optimistic if you think 600 is possible.

maybe i missed it but i thought you was doing a cheap rebuild and using stock rods which you said were good for 500 now you wanna top the dyno leader board. You will need a considerable amount more done to the engine to achieve that a set of pistons and injectors isnt going to do that.

Great results Bob well done! £100k though is a bit excessive its easy to get 10s with the right mods just look at Speciality Z blue beast running sub 10s and that spec is around 15k or so. e have a few zeds in the UK now hitting big power but its all for show unless you can drive it fast and Bob jsut keeps on getting better and better.

Has the car been driving like this? If so i would change the bearings as a precaution as they may have had excess load put on them now which will cause them to fail sooner. Better safe than the bearings collasping round the track

That dont look right should be flush from what i can make out on the pic. I dont think the bearings have seated correctly causing a gap somewhere id take it all off again and maybe go for some new bearings if they arent as they aint much iirc

On another note do you wanna swap back for the truck and some cash :D The truck is sporting a brand new AMS cylinder head :)

Hate it! you have ruined a shorty zed there the front bumper doesnt fit, i hate carbon bonnets and that wing looks silly Think you should export it to Japan where it will fit in
