  7. i think they look the mutts but being chrome it wil bounce the light of it and up in to the sky,does look nice even if you cant see the road :rofl: -hid kit is a must makes such a big differance
  8. water leak is more apparent when the engine stops due to pressure,as said above,but also iv seen the overflow bottle have a crack causing similar problems if in the centre then probably the 2 short hoses coming from the block/or pump,sometimes leaves a rusty mark when water has ben dripping from a certain area
  9. theres also a relay inside the rear qtr on a 2+2 but me thinks it will be in a differant location ona shortie just keep an eye on it normally the problem will be permanant buzzing whilst car is running when there is a problem

    no some uk cars have tweed but its a slightly differant tweed,more cloth like,look at bee gee vinz
  12. even in park sometimes the selector arm is not set perfect,so lever needs to be pushed forward slightly to extract key

  14. if for any reason the PTU doesnt help,could pop down to z tech nr swindon fair old journey but atleast you know your car will be looked over properly,we can perform consults FOC aswell have a look in the traders section greg
  15. faulty knock sensor would not cause flutuating idle so dont know what there on ;)

  21. typical PTU failure once the PTU gets hot and if its failing it weakens the spark make the car run lumpy,missfire-you need to get another known working PTU to plug in and see if that helps,im sure someone on here can lend you one,you can buy an upgraded series 2 PTU which has better cooling properties and will last longer ;)

    120k is fine aslong as the car has been mantained and loved then theres no reason why it wont last until 250k miles auto boxes will die as will turbos expect to put 2k aside for any problems wether it be uk or import makes no differance,find a manual they will last longer,syncros are starting to fail but are a much more desirable car to buy ;)

    dont run 1.2bar injectors are maxed out at 1bar any more and will cause trouble stick to 1bar max or say goodnight to your turbos lol
