  1. its a 300 mate reliable :rofl: we have 12 zeds at ztech needing full/partial engine rebuilds :nelson: says it all realy,great cars when there running,need a lot of TLC hope yours gets sorted bud

  3. refill with oil making sure you have the correct amount,and also clean the area with carb cleaner so when it leaks straight away you can see where its coming from,whilst car is off ground have someone start it whilst your under there,sounds like its coming from the oil filter tree region to be that much oil

  11. uk and j spec fit the same,only differance is the uk radiators have a stupid oil cooler pipework design,but both auto or manual j spec or uk will fit each other,if you buy an auto rad and yours is manual obviously you just dont use the cooler feeds na wont fit TT though

  13. only 1 intake and exhaust per cyl ? thought it would be 32valve SOHC per head then!
  14. the rod bearings do but the main and big end are between crank and block,first bearings to go are more commonly the rod bearings,as there the ones that will starve of oil first!

  17. tps in pic white wire in the middle is where you take the positive via a multimeter

  19. check tps is at apropriate reading 0.44 - 0.48 -+ easiest way is to test via voltmeter put black lead to earth and place the live probe in to the centre white wire coming of the plug on the tps,grey plug not the black one on the tps,then ajust via the 2screws. a high or low reading can cause stalling especially on autos and can also hamper performance if not set up correctly with the above value greg
  20. is is deifinatly a 94,check seatbelts for confirmation! most series 2 ptu's were fitted to j spec cars so your may of missed out if yours is uk.94 for being the last year of production in the uk,they probably got stingy :wack:
  21. sounds like a lifter issue,change the oil for a good quality synthetic and hopefully the noise will lessen,it could also be the injectors,0 oil press,can just be a faulty sender there prone to playing up!check for leaks underneath,as this can cause low oil pressure! oil first then go from there
