  1. you know that ;)
  2. red hoses in pic show under plenum bypass, and the red dotted hoses i have marked are off water pipes where leaks occur
  3. that pic is of a pcv hose so if it was leak from that it would be oil! the common hose to leak for futire referance is the short hose that feeds the pass turbo about 5" hose running at 45 degrees above the bellhousing,or one of the small hoses that run under the plenum, where a hose bypass is the easier option. HTH greg
  4. when you replace the clutch it would be silly not to replace the rear main seal to the crank,as mark says!otherwise if it leaks down the line its gearbox out again.rps sport is an ideal clutch and comes with new release bearing, and needle bushing.

not sure mate,a very rough and i mean rough way of a guesstamate is every extra 1psi of boost =10hp so running 14psi is 5extra psi figure it out,all depends on engine condition so as said rough guess

  10. nuff said really, and karl unsure of why this post would be removed there no hatred towards luke whatsoever! i agree with luke on 1 thing if a trader lists many parts that they say they sell, when really they dont but could spend 2years trying to get it for you :headvswal i see this as a problem, whats wrong with a bit of healthy competition ;) oh and will say luke is spot on to deal with, and whenever somethings needed its delivered, good salesman to :D

330s and porsche boxers are to easy :o cona hows the boost increase then, noticed much more in the dry
  13. call 07968166640 and ryan will sort you one out mate
  14. ok if it increases with engine noise then its your viscous, replace it and the noise will dissapear, same happened to my viscous on my old z ;)
  15. so bloody true les :o
  16. you can do some cool tricks with false teeth as my mum demonstrates
  17. ok lets get this straight, your electric fan is coming on,dont get confused with the viscous!the viscous fan is permantly on due to it being belt driven of the waterpump pulley wheel,im guessing you mean the electric fan,in which case will be due to a faulty temp sensor yellow plug on top of front waterpipe, clean it or replace plug/loom and that should stop the fan coming on intermitadly, this may be retarding the timing as it thinks the engine is getting hot and causing the car to run poorly. This is why it takes time for the turbos to get up to efficancy due to the timing being backed off via the ecu
  18. happy birthday pete and dave g and the other 2 ;)
  19. every car is differant,if one car has slightly lower compression than the other it may produce less hp etc,id say increase your boost and enjoy it,does it really matter?over 15 years a car looses a fair amount of hp due to wear and tear so if you increase the boost by a few psi,all your doing is bringing the car back within spec of performance
  20. lifters are approx £12 each and you need 24 :smw: a new crank from nissan approx £750  camshaft unsure, but im sure there is no need to order new
  21. **** the calender dont bother refund is a better option, besides my arsenal one cost me £6.99 and is better quality and i got it in january ;)
  22. LOL no its not something you can tinker with, the tensioner is hydraulic and if it fails then your engine is likey to suffer damage,i think you have you wires crossed, never heard of a lazy tensioner  might want to get a 2nd opinion on whats at fault because changing the oil wont do ****all
  23. it looks shit it is shit but it is a classic, and has to be appreicated for that fact alone
  24. sounds like a sticky lifter, check the oil levels, could also be due a decent oil change with a good quality synthetic
