  1. it should not make any differance,im pretty sure you have not sat it on the pivot ball properly,or its just sat on wrong,iv removed and fitted os giken, and replaced with other brands and there is no differance to the clutch fork, pivot ball, spring etc you can upgrade the pivot ball infact smithy sells um but they are the same as oem except stronger
  2. looks alot better IMO alan nice one
  3. the hicas is ran of the same pot as the powersteering,so top up the PS pot left hand side of engine bay green or black pot, with car running turn steering wheel from left to right lock and top up greg

  12. when i went to ireland,i asked a few people why there is rivalry, and was told on more than one occasion, you live next door,so its an excuse to put on the armour :D then was bought a pint of guiness ;)
  13. fairplay just need it running, and that red hose removed and replaced, blue or purple hose would look better mark
  14. PMSL the first post iv read this week that i can laugh @ trust the turk to buy a straight bannana :D it must be a bananna evolution 7 :p :smw:
  15. see you all there, until then....
  16. air grinder sometimes is the only way :D
  17. unless they have had a massive water leak and the ****er has decided to seize on  then the 10ft scaffold bar comes out :D
  18. the oil will show up well above the hot mark, when cold due to the fact the oil has not got around the gearbox you can still run the car up to temp then test the dipstick,if the oil has gone a dark colour then it may well be on its way out,but it could also carry on for a few thousand miles with little problems, drain the oil out and refil with dextron iii ATF in other words,if gearchanges are still impossible, then i would be looking at a rebuild or man conversion as for boost problems perhaps because the gearbox is not engaging properly then its delaying the power making it feel like its permantly of boost
  19. apart from removing the starter locking off the flywheel to lock the crank off, what a waste or energy, wrap an old ancilary belt around the waterpump and over the crank pulley then start to undo, this will strangle to crank pulley and in turn will undo the bolt
  20. he is welcome to,i will not say anymore, otherwise it turns in to a 300zx mudslinging match and as mike has said this was not meant to be a kramer vs kramer thread paul have no problem with you, have no need to never will have to,i work for ryan so i will be biased its natural, same as you if you worked for someone,so i will stand on the sideline greg
  21. umm i think it is,iv watched 3 posts and thought i wont post as it will look biased, however it does go on and on,i can understand frustration and each member looking out for each other, but the FACT is there are no facts and i feel until ryan has said his bit, which he will WHEN he can then you can make your mind up greg
  22. i was not going to reply, but as everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, and as ryan is away at the moment, and has no internet accsess due to moving i feel you need to step back, and listen, paul may be upset but to carry on saying the same old shit gets repetative :slap: approx 40% of work comes from the forum the rest is from elsewhere, there is another world away from 300zx.co.uk 7pages of positive http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=94 ryan has also completed over 50 engine/turbo rebuilds, and if there has ever been any problems, which working on a 15yr old car there always will then they have been covered warrantied ;) however there are instances when they will not be covered, this is where ryan has to explain,as im in no position to,so step back and cool the fingers down  sorry to have to post this, but your argueing against a brickwall with a one sided story :nono:
