I'd guess it depends on the size of oil cooler?

I've got a near neighbour that has a Stag. Every week he starts it up, revs the hell out of it for a while then takes it for a 10 minute drive. I cringe at the damage he's doing to it..

Normally the quickest way to empty the tank would be to drive a few miles..:lol: Since you can't yet then I'd remove the pump and use a suction pump to get rid. Pretty sure the filler neck has an anti-syphon valve to stop fuel theft.

hmm, couldn't say for sure on that. I was under the impression that the cooler was just part of the the oil system, but unlike the rad, the oil went through it anyway. You could always check the level again and top up as required before putting the fuse back in. You'll need to do the procedure anyway as the turbos will have more than likely drained of oil if the engine hasn't been run for a while. A dry turbo seal will be knackered very quickly if you don't. I'm sure one of our experts will be able to say if this will fill the cooler or not as well.

Can't answer them all but; 2. Take out the fuel pump fuse from the small fuse holder in the bay (drivers side near back). Then crank the engine a few times, this will chuck the oil about but won't start the engine. Will also put oil through the tubs. Just put the fuse back in when your done. 3. Use transmission cooler as it is the transmission your cooling, regardless of the type of cooler. 4. As long as they aren't pitted then yes will be fine, driving it will also remove mild surface rust. 5. I'd ditch the fuel as the octane will have gone by now and it's not worth trying with it tbh. I used a large socket that covered the flange and applied equal pressure all round, didn't have any trouble with it tbh.

At least you didn't have to minutely adjust the volume control on your tape recorder to get Spectrum games to load mate..lol

Yep me too except the 3DO, I've also got An Acorn Electron, TRS80 and a few 8 bit Atari computers a ZX81 and an Original Sinclair 128K Speccy.
