  1. Yeah, once the bottom rubber is out of the way you will see the road through the hole. That's why you get a noise when they're split, as there's nothing else stopping it. Don't know what bolt Jeff meant but the common problem is the one holding the gear lever pivot to the fork. They tend to get overtightened which can crush the bushes and cause the gear changes to be stiff.
  2. I've got to stick mine down yet, was going to use black silicon like vods says. Like the idea of the two tangs at the back though, mine doesn't have them. Will have to fit some to mine I think.
  3. That's what I got too. An O ring for every occasion! lol - - - Updated - - - I bet Phutumsch could find one ;) lol
  4. Yeah, as mark says, get some mole grips on it and it will come out. Well worth replacing the o rings as well :)
  5. Welcome to the forum Andy. I have asked Groover our TLO to contact you regarding this. In the meantime can ask that you refrain from offering items for sale until you have spoken to him. Many thanks.
  6. Happy Birthday buddy :pint:
  7. I'm terrified that I'll have to take mine out. Knowing me, I'll bounce the bloody block off every panel on the car. Including the tailgate! lol
  8. Good man, thanks for your continued support :thumbup1:
  9. It's funny how it's always easier to get an engine in and out when the car will be having a re-spray. Different story once it's done though...
  10. Trust you! lol I would say living, but I tried that once...
  11. I told her I'd have a gander mate, but she wouldn't listen! lol

  17. Here you go; http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=br&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=12&design=default&total=56 The Service manual is a wealth of info, you'll find most of what you need in there.
  18. I've bought stuff from them before but not had any work done. I'd be confident in them doing a top job though. Personally, after all the trouble I had with doing mine, I would get them to paint them :) Yours will be like new as they replace all the seals and pistons and thoroughly clean them as well.
  19. A couple of fine beasts there bud :thumbup1: What does Riddick think to them?
  20. Never seen an original one.. I don't know mate, my DTA Conzult was dearer. OK, they are different but be a nice bit of Z memorabilia for some one..:)
  21. Love the engineering that's gone into that but would you want a kid driving it around and denting it??
  22. Thanks for your support mate and your kind words. :)
