  1. Just take some precautions first mate. i.e. you could change the fluid. But as you say it is a bit of pot luck really. iirc the s2 Autobox was stronger than the s1 but that's no guarantee that it won't fail. As said they are nearly 20 years old now :)
  2. There is no point just replacing one bush. The other bushes may look fine but they won't be as solid as the new bush. Replace all four, It's a pain getting the first one out but once you know what your doing the rest will come out in about 10 mins each as dave said.
  3. No, he's talking about the vac lines that go to the solenoids. I bought my gasket from MJP in the traders section but you could probably make something up with some gasket paper.
  4. Think I've found a new hobby :) Cheers dave......
  5. Is that the same as Al's old zeds bodykit? Looks to be the same to me but I'm pretty crap with body kits.
  6. Didn't think the panel fitment was very good round the bonnet and front wings :(
  7. Congrats mate, what's it like to drive then? I'haven't driven my for over two years :(
  8. There were two different racks used on the zed but I don't know if it was a TT N/A difference or just one superseded the other?
  9. A well looked after good nick autobox can take a lot of power. Don't know how much exactly but I would have thought 450bhp would fine. The experts will be able give you more accurate figure though.
  10. No worries. lol It's certainly worth check for loose pipes etc.
  11. I would take the valve off and give it a good clean up. It may well be gunged shut or open.
  12. It's a pain but just use a crows foot on it and it's easy enough. Changing the drivers side steering rack bush with the engine in and the car on stands is the worst job. lol
  13. They look quite smart :)
  14. Don't know then mate. I can't think of any Nismo Special edition zeds that weren't track ones. Maybe you just have a normal zed with some choice nismo bits.
  15. What makes you think its a Nismo one mate?
  16. dont know what you mean mate. lol According to there estimate I should be getting 37Mbps. The exchange cab is about 300m from my house but it's less than twenty years old so the copper lines should still be good.
  17. I've borrowed this picture from one of Jeff's threads, the valves are arrowed in black. I don't know if this is your problem but it's worth checking out. HTH sorry about the other picture but I can't seem to delete it :(
  18. Faulty VVT solenoid on the rear of the engine?
  19. Day 3; Service is still crap! I'm getting a regular 3 to 4 Mbps download and a ping of 45. I did briefly hit 11Mbps last night........ So far not impressed :( my old BT bb was better.
  20. Personally I would ditch Vista and get myself Windows 7 it's a much better OS
  21. I would still bleed it but all you need to do is leave the cap off the pot and turn the wheel lock to lock a few times. This lets the system burp itself, it's not like the brakes or clutch where you loose fluid when bleeding. HTH
  22. Nah, that's Jock from the garage. Leepu and Bernie were in Chop Shop. They took shite and well turned it into dangerous shite. lol
