  1. Suggest you also replace the steel stub pipes that connect the rubber pipes to the heads - they rust through.
  2. MR2 turbos are pretty tough, although a presume lots of them are badly abused. A much more resilient engine than a Z.
  3. Happy Bidet Joel.
  4. Something from Robot Wars ?
  5. If you look closely enough you can find 'coincidences' everywhere, especially if you want to find them. There you have about 20 links, what about the 20 million that don't exist ?
  6. Do you know what standard chip maps look like ? Sounds to me like yours still has the speed limiter on it.
  7. Pah, packet of salt and vinegar Discos - that'll sort you out ! :D
  8. Can't beat Bridgestones for performance, Toyos are next best choice. After that go for major manufacturers. Everyone will have their own opinion and criteria for what is a good tyre.
  9. Love The Avengers and my Tivo is often busy recording The Sweeney on obscure digital channels - fantastic !
  10. Those figures may be for US only, not wolrdwide, 1996 is when US sales stopped.
  11. I don't recollect seeing the extended information, it'll probably end up I posted it !!
  12. 300ZX (Z32) 1990 39,290 1991 17,653 1992 6,704 1993 9,801 1994 4,836 1995 4,176 1996 unknown - last 300 units identifed with dash plaque
  13. Billy the plumber form DIY SOS.
  14. But it's more fun to poke someone in the eye with a short stick !
  15. Oh yeah, you certainly can't do a straight swap.
  16. Well worth waxing the wheels afterwards, it'll slow down the corrosion and make them slightly easier to clean next time.
  17. I'm interested in the sill panels, probably not the arches though.
  18. Aside from the maps, which are on the chip (eg alterable), there is probably only one difference and that will vary depending on the year of the ECU, and it's the boost solenoid circuitry. If you have an aftermarket boost controller then these are not used anyway. So, .... in theory .... you can put an NA ECU into a TT car if you have an aftermarket boost controller.
  19. I suspect it's more wiring problems than PTU - I've never heard of the later model PTU failing.
  20. Yep, I had an ECU with the same problem - had to disconnect the battery or ECU.
  21. Part Batmobile, part Ferrari !
  22. Question is invalid - he is not AT ALL cool.
  23. It's at my mates place in Berden. What he really needs is more hours in his life, so you never know ....
